What Tom failed to mention in his post above was that during warm-ups he had one of the rarest, most incredible shots that can be imagined. Throwing at hole 2 on the island he ran at the basket pretty good but was a little high. As a result of the height he hit the tree on the island and it dropped his disc ON TOP of the basket, where it came to rest. It was awesome.

All I remember about that was not getting ace fund because it was a playoff hole :P

I never heard of anybody getting an ace on a playoff hole of any league or tournament.  My father years ago witnessed an incredible ball golf shot on the first hole of the California State amateur championship.  A guy got a double eagle (2 on a par 5) to win the tournament.  Maybe we need to re-think not paying the ace fund on a playoff ace.  (Maybe make a partial payment?)
