Loomis gave me #15 (he took my #30) after one WINDY round at SMP Friday afternoon. I picked up a "2" on #2, he evened us up with a "2" on #4. Craziest wind... we muddled our way around to #10 where Loomis absolutely DESTROYED it for a 5' putt!

I didn't figure a "55" would win anything other than a handshake... but the winds never let up and layups (and putting) became the issue. Spring really is around the corner, regardless of that darned Groundhog  :o

Is 18 a special number to you Chris?

No.  There are only 2 numbers important to me:  1 and 200.

Hmmm.. strange, the only two that are important to me are 89 and 107. I had some interest in 88 at one point but it was just too symmetrical. #1 is appealing in that it is a prime number but it's simply too small.

If those are the only numbers important to you than you should look to someone other than Steve.

Actually, 1 hasn't been considered a prime number for several years.

Missouri....our state animal is sterile, our state rock is lead, and we elected a dead guy to the U.S. Senate.  Of course, he was the best candidate.

My bad....   #2 is indeed considered the first prime number. The last professional mathematician to call #1 a prime number was Henri Lebesque, and he died in 1941, long before I was born. I feel so stupid.... I apologize for misleading all of you on the DISCussion board and I sincerely hope no one answered an SAT question wrong due to my ignorance.  Actually the prime numbers have several properties that the number 1 lacks, such as the relationship of the number to its corresponding value of Euler's totient function or the sum of divisors function. For more information on this fascinating topic read a damn book or something. (I got my info from Wikipedia)

I feel a little bad, but I took part in Deano's birthday bash today out at PC and took his Lucky #50. Someone got my 128. Not sure who. But I'm ready to give the lovely lady away for an even better number. Any takers?
