Are they still needing extra baskets for Swope? I have a Innova DISCatcher available, if needed.

It wouldn't hurt to bring extra baskets, but I think that we have it covered.....

As for the event, it is NEXT weekend, not this weekend.

As for Swope set up.....it won't be fully set until Saturday morning.  As there is a need for 4 portable baskets that don't have perm pins.  Mainly on the "north course" for Swope, and one on the "South course" for swope.  The remainder of the places we will be using will be to pins that are already in place at Swope.

It will be a very TIGHT configuration, but one that I believe we can muster with everyone having at least one person paying attention for shots from other pads.

Just to make sure.  There is no "sign up" for this event if you are a current KCFDC member?

So I'm a current member and I'd like to participate, I just go to Swope between 8am-9am and tell them how many rounds I intend on playing in?

Basically, yes. Just show up and we will check you for current status. If you aren't going to play the next round but intend to play the 3rd or 4th it is helpful. We usually ask you to tell us when you turn the card in so we know whether to flight you or not.

This is the first tournament i'll have played before and i had a question that i'm hoping someone can answer for me. My girlfriend was wanting to come out and watch the tourney but i didn't know if she did whether she could walk the courses with me or if she would have to be somewhere else as a spectator? Do alot of people come out just to watch these kinds of things?

She'll be able to walk with ya', unless things have drastically changed since I lived there.  It's basically a flex type start, if I remember right.  As far as watching these kinds of things, I guess that would depend on who's on the card...lol  ;D

She can walk with you. This is a SHOTGUN start so we all start at the same time. You will be assigned a hole to go to and a loud something or rather will alert you to begin with your card mates. Just make sure you are there early enough to check in.
