I've checked in and because I'm scatterbrained, I have no idea what this disc is sitting on my desk now. It's one of the ones given to amateurs, with the stamp of a disc basket growing roots, and the disc itself is super square and blunt, with a concave plate. What is this thing? It's got no inscriptions anywhere on the underside.

See you tomorrow morning at WW!

The beginning brought some errors in check-ins. If you are playing ADVANCED anything you should have gotten an Innova Players Pack. If you played Int/Rec (anything in the B-Tier) you should NOT have gotten one. Unfortunately, there was some confusion. So if you were in ADV and did not receive your Innova Player Package, please check in at Swope again and let them know you didn't get that and they will give it to you. If you got one and were not supposed to you can either bring it back to us and say hey no worries or you can keep it and well you won the players package lottery.

Does anyone one if the Pro Men are still on schedule to tee off at 1 pm at Waterworks, or are they running behind?

The live stream of the top card isn't anywhere on the website.  I wanted to watch during some down time at work (since I can't be there) but I can't find it anywhere at kcwideopen.com.

Is this still a thing?

Saw a picture from Rosie hole 3 of a big hornets nest in the middle of the fairway. Does anyone know if it has been taken care of, if there are plans too, or if not, what the rules are for playing around it?

Jayhawker: I am not TD, BUT, if I was, I would say this is a GROUP DECISION. If your disc landed anywhere near the bees, I would allow you to take CONSIDERABLE relief in order to facilitate a safe shot. That's just it. If you're trying to excersize gamesmanship, then that's lame. But in the spirit of the game, you should be allowed to move your lie to a place where you can safely throw your shot.

So beyond this banter, today was phenomenal at Water Works. Everyone of you should stand up straighter knowing how well this town represents. Lots of compliments today folks. Lots. Thanks to the volunteers who came out at all the courses. See you all tomorrow up north. The Wide Open has some great energy rocking. Let's keep it going! Final 9 Sunday afternoon.

I am offering a bounty of one beer to the first person who provides video evidence that they have killed the single angry bumblebee that has decided the 5th tee at WW is their territory. The damned thing sneaked up on me from behind and stung me on my throwing hand, and made further buzzing attack passes at me all afternoon.

There's really no reward, to be truthful. I just wanted to tell a bee story. And I want that bee dead.
