Which rounds will be up top vs down under? I don't know about everyone else, but I feel like the top divisions (MPO, MPM, MA1) would definitely prefer to play Down-Under 1st, and finish up top.

Also, I feel like we had this exact discussion last year.

If there are enough people the TD can use both courses the same round. What divisions play which course first is up to the TD. Bribery is always an option.

Why would it matter what order you play the courses in?  I kinda like how you've chosen to speak for THREE different divisions.

glover probably won't play, but is guaranteed to show up an inject commentary during your rounds. regardless of your division, glover is an integral part of the down under layout, he is the sapling on seven and the nicer on nine.

Unless we have a really large pre registration, I would imagine everyone will play the same course.  However I would love to have the problem with too many players on one course forcing us to split the pools.

@Peter
Respectfully as your TD at first I had thought Down Under First and Up Top second due to our daylight restrictions. As I thought about it and discussed it with a respected TD, it was thought that Up Top first would be beneficial to the overall tournament experience as being fun, due to the fact that down under 9 is a super sweet tourney central location for mid round and 2nd round. I'm going to talk with Bob and Paul this weekend and baskets will be set and posted mid next week so you'll have ample time to practice the layouts.

If it gets windy throughout the day, you will want to be down under in the afternoon, with your flask.

I appreciate your respect Danger. I give the credit to James Wallace and John Buckle. Compared to them, my input was minimal. I give huge kudos to Steve Hostettler for the current condition.

@ Jeff O. Not going to cap it due to us having 2 courses to use. @ Harold. I didn't put am grands on the flyer due to the minimal number of am grandmasters we may have sign up. In the past we haven't had a large showing for am grands. I wanted you guys to have fun for minimal funds and still get a decent payout.

Arturo and I tied at 96 for two rounds for first.  We split it and didn't have a playoff.  Scott Reek took third, Bobby V. took 4th and Steve Thimmesch took 5th.  I don't know who won Advanced, but Joseph Hammontree won intermediate.  Aaron Shanahan tied for the win in Advanced Masters.  That's all I can remember.

We would have been playing for $22 ($150 vs $128).  I was ready to get out of the cold.  Since it was unsanctioned and there was no trophy, lets go hang out at the DD store for a bit.
