Title: Round this weekend?
Post by: jhinck2 on February 15, 2011, 03:15:13 PM
Is there a group that plays any sort of league at Blue Valley on the weekends or just casual?  I'm wanting to play it, but can't get any friends to play along since they don't have the arm to handle it...

If  do not go to Iowa this weekend, I would be willing to have a "League Round" on Sunday out there starting at 10:00 for anyone interested.  It will be $10, with $1 towards the Ace fund, and $1 to the club, based on the participation we will either play random dubs, or singles, though I am leaning towards singles, with 2 divisions-cash only-masters/open.

We will start on #2, so I will be at the main shelter.  I should know by tomorrow if I am heading to Iowa or not, will keep you all posted.

Spread the word!

i'll be there. how about that ace fund, i kinda like the old pike approach where there's and end of round ctp, and ten dollars kinda steep. either way it'll be a fitness round for this geezer. jack if you can't make it i should be able to run this.

only 2 showed, scores: 79 and 76, played in 2 hours and 4 minutes. this course is improved, a lot of brush has been cleared, and the grasss is low and the wind is high. BE FEARLESS, like the honey badger, check out what happens when he is bitten by a king cobra.
