Just getting an idea on how many would be interested in a putting clinic host at California Trail?

W 133rd St & Pflumm in Overland Park at the California Trail Middle school. It's a short 9 hole course that could use some love as far as maintenance (no tee pads, missing signs, and broken baskets). Its good for approach practice and if there's no other course you can go to nearby. I used it daily during my hour lunch breaks last summer and enjoyed what it offered in that aspect.
As far as a putting clinic there? I'd see it being beneficial and would go if I was free to do so.

Thanks. That's a hulluva drive from where I'm at, but if the time and date were convenient I suppose I would go. Who's hosting? Is it the FeldBot? I hope it's the FeldBot.

Does this mean you want to play golf? Or you want to host a clinic? Are you looking for volunteers or just to play? If it is for the kids, I know some folks who are very interested.

This would be a free deal to hopefully grow the sport and give adults and kids an idea of what the sport offers, how it is played and what it all entails. It would also be a good place due to minimal traffic and potential to set temp pads with flags for a few holes since most of them are in need of dire repair. There is also a football field to hold a longest drive competition for anyone interested.

Simultaneously, a putting clinic could be held to introduce and develop putting skills for advanced players.

I feel there is a lot of opportunity with this place and if there is an interest, maybe the baskets and signs could be redone along with some permanent dirt pads put in place to make this a decent 9 hole track or practice facility.

Is the assumption that we would be "Better" at putting after the clinic?

This sounds like a good idea, count me in. I live about 20 minutes from CTMS. How can I help?

I am assuming that The Nailer will be teaching the putting clinic? If so, I will be there.
