I heard InnColor and SuperColor discs with surgical camera photos of actual cancerous prostates.

Not sure I can pull this off, but I can show you my full body bone scan:

I HIGHLY SUGGEST GETTING CHECKED OUT GUYS
When I was having my knee operated on this past summer, I was supposed to get a physical. I figured I may as well get the whole check out done since I am at the age to do that. They discovered my prostate is enlarged. I had a biopsy done and everything turned out negative so that was a blessing. I don't have any syptoms of having an enlarged prostate so it goes to show. Get that stuff done you stubborn bastards.

They say you learn something new every day. Today I learned that Glover has an enlarged prostate. Can I get a re-do?

Thanks Glover, this is one of the two main points of our organization, to get guys to at least go get tested.
If I wouldn't have been stubborn, or better if I would have know to get tested, well let's not go down the shoulda, coulda, woulda path... let's just play some DG, on a really cool course, hang out, and drink a few beers.

It does come at a price, before we play you will have to listen to me give this advice one more time!!

It's all good!

I would be saying TMI to Steve but he's right, and especially under this particular thread. I've dealt with all of that myself although everything's fine now. (Saw palmetto!) You young guys will understand one day.... I maintain that one of the best ways to keep health care costs down is to actively patrol your health to catch issues that could become major while they are still minor. Don't be afraid of going to the doctor for checkups, be afraid of what might happen and how much it might cost of you don't.

You just need to copy the embed code that is generated by flicker or imageshack.  It starts out ([URL]) and so on.  Make sure you use the CAPITAL letter code not the small.

So we have way more pre registrations than in years past and with the addition of some really awesome stamps and disc....I think we are going to be close to full this year.

I would really consider registering sooner versus later.

If you have any questions about registration or the tourney, please let me know. 913-832-5757 or garywlafreniere@gmail.com

I think the prizes are going to be sweet this year too....more to come (still working!!!!)

Another update:

18 teams are no registered.

Also, talked to Bill, the owner of the course and they are makign a few tweaks to the course.
Not sure I remember them all? Some effect play others, not so much.

#2 - cut a new path to # 3 tee pad
#6 - moving basket to the right to avoid #7 tee pad
#9 - moving teepad up to avoid shots from #8 tee (like they did for Worlds)
#10 - he mentioned moving the basket? Not sure why, it was perfect over the log?
#11 and #12 - they cut a line of sight through the woods so player can see the basket. He said it was not a throwing lane.
#13 - moving the basket to the right to avoid the back of #11 tee.
#18 - moving the tee to the right to make the hole harder and slightly longer.

This was all he mentioned and the fact they hoped to have it all done before the 8th of May.

I would add that hole 14 has an OB line that is # 5's fairway. I know that is not as much of an issue for our event as we move the 14 tee pad up but I had 2 in my group hit wood and go into the 5 fairway on my 1st round and as I played 5 both rounds we had golfers playing up (about the last 150 feet) fairway 5. That was only an issue from a speed of play perspective on 1 of the rounds.

Hell, If I hit a tree and go into the 5 fairway you better bet I would play up the fairway to the 14 basket.

The question is should we call that OB for this event?

As the TD I am inclined to include this as an OB. I don’t want to slow play for folks on #5 if people are accidentally going into their fairway from hole 14.

Any thoughts from those that know the course?
