I had an off topic message and which mold was used for the commemorative discs.
Innova just confirmed the mold used was the Star Rancho

Need another reason to sign up?

I just got off the phone and can now confirm that Tallgrass Brewery (http://www.tallgrassbeer.com/)
has stepped and will be providing beer and other sundries!

Now where's that registration form?

Sign-up on line here: http://www.flhw.org/events.html
Or mail in the form here: http://www.flhw.org/images/stories/discgolf/2010%20flhw%20dg%20sign%20up.pdf

25 teams are in, 29 spots remain.

Here's a pink Katana

Here's a swirl blue Destroyer

The Katana's and Destroyer's (both Pro Plastic) are $15

Tune in tomorrow for the commemorative disc, it's pretty bas ars! But I'm a little biased.

Gary, I'm pretty sure those Rocs you had were the new Roc+ (different rim inside) because Innova only releases Star/Champ Rancho's for the USDGC and Japan Open.  Regardless, they still looked great.

Chris - I'm not sure if it matters but the Rancho designation came straight from Innova

Possibly Friday afternoon.  I'll be there setting up, getting ready etc.
Let me check with the owner and I'll post a response here in a few days.

While it doesn't matter for fundrasing, I just wanted to let people know.  Per Mark at DiscGolfValues.com,

Quote
These are the new run Roc (+).  They are made in very grippy Star material and offer the modified grip of a beefier feel to the rim.  You will feel the difference between this and the normal Rancho Roc with the improved grip.  The disc is marked *R+ and there is a different engraving to this configuration.  The disc pictured is just a representation of what the design looks like.  All of these discs are in max weight at 180g.

Innova wanted to design a Roc that was meant to be run in premium plastic, since all 3 Roc variations were designed for dx are are pretty overstable in any configuration in Star or Champion.  From Dave Dunipace on the PDGA forums:

Quote
The new Roc flies in between an Ontario and San Marino, I think. It has real good high speed stability, but a little less low speed over-stability than a San Marino. Same speed and glide.

The new Rocs are marked as Rancho.
