end of an era ?
« on: April 06, 2007, 01:02:47 PM »
I just got issue #81 of Disc Golf World. I was reading it last night after a round with members of the Olathe Posse, so excuse my possible lack of accurate recall, but did I read that after #84 the mag will come to an end? If so, how sad. I have always thought it was really cool that the PDGA's members recieved the mag which came right out of our very own disc golf world of Kansas City.

I would just like to say thanks Rick for a job well done. Also, thanks to Lynne, John, and all those who contributed to making my favorite quarterly all these years.

Well said Tom. I'd like to add my voice to those sentiments. We're appoaching the end of an era in disc golf. Much thanks to the DGW crew for the years of a quality magazine we've enjoyed. We can only hope that the PDGA can find something approaching their quality to supply its members with in the future.

To continue getting news from the same source I suggest checking out the new Disc Golf World News online at:

I too thank you Rick, Lynn, and John, for hooking up my favorite magazine of all time. Great job. It will be missed.
