Swope League 4/11/2017

With last week being a rainout, tonight was our first official league night of 2017.  20 came out for a rolling start on a mostly short layout, which led to some low scores.

Leagues / Swope League 6-23-2015

So, after a healthy showing at Swope Gold league last week, I had a couple of suggestions to play a random draw dub this week at league.  So, after asking a few more opinions, I am going to do just that tomorrow night. 

This is your fair warning (or maybe not so fair) for TOMORROW night.  Tee off at 6pm...please be signed up by 5:45.

At next week's league, we will be playing Swope Gold!!  I will be at the Club House no later than 4:30pm.

It will be a flex start, with the last cards going out at no later than 5:45pm.  So, when you get to the course, get your card together (please keep cards to no bigger than 4 players), and then come see me to sign in, pay league dues, and get your score card.

I will have all the normal divisions, including Open, Open Women, Masters, Advanced, Intermediate, Recreational, and Am Women.

I expect a minimum of 3 hour rounds, so please keep speed of play in mind as you go.

Happy 2015 everyone...I know I am a bit late!!

I am excited to start my 4th year running Swope League...league is going to kick off on April 7 directly at 6pm.  I will be at the Club House as usual, so please come find me and get signed in as quickly as possible, so we can start on time.

I am going to play short pads and short pins with no OB (Mandos will be in play...that will not change this year).  Thanks to Patick who will move everything short by opening day!!  I hope to have a big group for the opening night!  Come on out and lets have a fun.

P.S.  I want to change up some league nights through out the summer...suggestions are always welcome.  I am thinking of some of the normal ones (All-In KCFDC Bag Tag nights, some BYOP and Random Dubs, etc.), but would like to hear from you and see what piques your interest.

Beginning 9/16/2014, league will tee off at 5:30 for the rest of September.

We will be playing Swope Gold for league this Tuesday night.  In the interest of finishing at a decent hour, I will start sending out groups of 3-4 players beginning at 5pm...last card out will be around 5:45.  So, come out, sign up, get a card together, and start play.  I will assist with getting you on a card if necessary. 

If any of our out-of-town guests have arrived by then, please, feel free to invite them along. 

I should have maps available.

Just wanted to say thanks to the Beer leaguers who were out Sunday at Swope.  I brought several kids aged 7-10 years old to play their first rounds of DG ever, and the Beer leaguers were awesome to the kids.  All 4 of the kids couldn't get enough of DG and were floored at how nice everyone was (which is saying something about those guys  ;D ).
