It was still great play, regardless of home course or luck.  However, Brian is right.  If you became a member, you couldn't play Intermediate in a PDGA event unless you get a waiver from the PDGA.

Dan, you and your staff did a great job lining this event up.

You can't get a waiver for Int.....you can only request to move from Am from Pro classification.  Rec/Int/Adv are all am status......his rating would prevent him from playing in any of those classifications.  It does however take 6 rated rounds before you have an "actual rating", so if he shot some 850 rounds ( I give lessons on those.....) he might be fine.
