Brian Palmer and I are now paid up.  I will be playing the part of the extremely rusty millstone about Brian's neck.

Can't wait.

There will be 7 super legit "birdie" holes (2, 6, 7, 8, 10, 15, 17) and 4 "bonus" birdie holes (5, 9, 11, 12, 16) the first round.  Of course, those holes go with some difficult 3/3.5's (1, 3, 4, 14, 18), and a par 4 (13).

I've suggested to Rick that we play the 1st round from the long tees (which is where my birdie estimates come from), and round 2 from the shorts (where a lot of those longer pins will be moved shorter).

Is there an advantage to pre registering for this, instead of just signing up the morning of? I know of a few teams who are planning on playing, but we're all south, so if its all the same we will just sign up Saturday morning.

Big Wave Dave is old enough for you.  I think he's 48, and plays Swope very well.

The only one I could imagine would be if it filled... but other than that just to let Rick know how many to expect might be next closest thing to an advantage I could think of.

Rick, what time do you anticipate this being done? I'm supposed to go to the Royals game with the in-laws that day and am trying to figure out if I can swing both. Game starts at 6:10 and I know I'd be close to the stadium with being at Swope and all.

Hey Glover, sorry I didn't see this earlier, otherwise, I'm in.  Haven't been back on "The Web" in a few days, minus yesterday.  Miles got with me while I was off, and I told him that I'd hook up with him.

That's a good question, and probably won't change anything this year. But I could see having the team members alternate drives in this division in the future.

Leo and cc on the third hole. Leo hit a 60+ footer for two, and the virreals were kinda stuck behind a bush and neither could quite connect. It's a good thing, too, because it might not have ended until fourteen after that.

nah, we just played badly.  the rain just exacerbated our already declining skill level.  it was actually pretty comical, we took it in stride though and still had a good time.

Yeah, but what I said was funnier.

Seriously, though, any day in which one can experience crappy play and laugh at it is a damn good day.
