Title: A disc golfers dream home!
Post by: quinnie on June 18, 2013, 04:52:15 PM
So buyers backed out and leaves us in a little jam or I would not post this about our house.  The listing does not state that our house is 1.4 miles away from Prairie Center Disc Golf Course and 1.4 miles away Lakeside Hills Disc Golf Course! Our best feature.  http://www.kansascityhomes.com/Olathe/900-S-MONTCLAIRE-Dr-Olathe-KS_66061/1832863.aspx (http://www.kansascityhomes.com/Olathe/900-S-MONTCLAIRE-Dr-Olathe-KS_66061/1832863.aspx)

Yeah, but it's in Johnson County though, so you'd be surrounded by yuppie douchebag neighbors. That's probably why you're wanting to move, isn't it?

Oh sure, that's why I don't mess around in Lee's Summit and why I left the Northland when they built Zona Rosa.

If a disc golfers dream includes 2 courses, one of which sports a 600+ foot hole that is so unbelievably narrow that 99.625% of the time it's a legitimate Par 4 and the other is a swampy overgrown mess full of ticks, then yeah, I can see that.   ;D

got me thinking, best home built at a golf course may be on ww # 16 pad! the home off swope gold #5 was looking good during the kcwo, bv #6 fairway is slightly ghetto but great access to the green

I have to agree.  WW #16 gets my vote.  Love that upper deck.  And yes, Jack, I am signed up for Sunday.  Looking forward to playing 2 of my favorite courses in town.

I do not have any yuppie douchebag neighbors.  Tom moved to a new home a couple of months ago.

We like the courses swampy and tick infested as it keeps pussy whiners away.

Too bad the buyers backed out Dan. You'll have to lower the price now probably.  ;D

Not me, the politicians, lawyers, and bankers that allowed the golf course to close and sit vacant for a decade, allowing the deer and thus the ticks to take over.

Speaking of ticks at Lakeside, I had a considerable quantity of 40% deet on Monday night and still pulled 19 ticks off during the round, and one more was found when I got home.  >:(

I got a better idea.  How 'bout we have a controlled burn?  On second thought, that would bring the whiners like myself back out to the course.   8)
