Title: League 7/22
Post by: jhinck2 on July 22, 2013, 11:32:41 AM
I presume there's still league tonight?  What time are you sending out cards, Jack?

I am going to try to be there ~5:45, if someone wants to take money and write down names in advance I am ok with that as well.  But I am leaving for Oklahoma for work in the morning and have a few loose items to take care before league.

I will be there though.  I say we play the following tonight:
1-Practice basket
8-Hangar
11-Practice Basket
18-Long Blue Practice Basket

I am going to try to move #17 short and then #10 to the middle placement as well for tonight.....unless we want to take a shot at the course a 3rd week in a row to see jut how different yet again the ratings can be.  (I can be easily swayed that direction as well, less work for me.....)

Honestly I'd like to play it maxed out (believe that's how you've got it). Been out of commission for a few months and don't know the last time I played 11 or 17 long.

ok, then we play the same course again thrice!  All Nickels are in play only.  No moving of the baskets at this time then.  I will start to move them more probably as I am finishing walking around tonight then.  So we may have people not starting on 1 or 2 tonight then so that I can move as we play.

In Oklahoma, and didn't bring the scoresheet, will update tomorrow the stats.  We had 10 players out, no ace hit, so ace is now over $400 to be at $405.

Jose stole the show with a 54 - very consistent round from him with 3 birds and three bogeys I believe.  Jack and I were just along for the ride as the only other open players.  Highlight from my round was a birdie on 6 - parkjob about 10 feet behind the basket with an old pro line Monster (as Jose put it - it's only a Monster in name, not in flight).  I finished with a 58 and I cannot remember what Jack ended with; something close to that as well.  Stay tuned for total results...

Yeah, but Jose's shot was better so I left mine out :)  I think the highlight of Jack's round was the "pickup" he had on hole 12.

Pick up? Like trash off the side of the hill while looking for his disc?

5 birdies, 5 bogeys.  Not too consistent :)

Somehow an even par out there on Monday was considered good enough to warrant a 1002 rating....Nice shooting there Jose.

THe weather was a touch on the warmside, but we had a great group of golfers out.  We got a majority of play out there from the Am Field though as they dominated the attendance they get the first billing.

Thomas Davis-59=$11 in KcKash-on vacation and still played like a man determined!
Bill Shinoski-63=$8 in KcKash, Bill has been a staple out at league and this was his first cashing performance.  Good shooting!
Anthony Brunsberg-65=$4 KcKash (he won the Rock Paper Scissors for the tie breaker to get the lion's share!)
Jacob Hinck-65=$3 KcKash (he lost the R-P-S contest, how, he left early....)
Ryan Keck-67=how many discs will I lose out there tonight?
Dale Walters-70
Andrew Walters-71

The Pro Side, already Jose chimed in on his performance....but he was the only cash in open this night.....

Jose Ossa-54=$11
Jordan Hinck-58
Jack Lowe-62 (Can I DNF?)

No Ace was hit, so the fund jumps to $405.  I am heading to Houston and Amarillo on Monday, so I would like to have someone run league in my absence.  If you are able to do so, please let me know. It is relatively simple, and will help out an awful lot.

Thanks all!
