Just a few more pads need to be poured. Five or six more have been put in this week. Three still has none as of today. Some bozo couldn't stand not being first and climbed over orange cones and yellow tape to throw from 14 long pad while it was still wet, forever leaving their mark.  >:(

Had a talk with a couple of bikers regarding the trails and course. Hopefully everyone will be aware and we won't have any major issues. There are some spots where things could happen for sure.

The course is looking beautiful and I have been enjoying what is there. My problem has been only throwing one drive per hole with so many multiple pins and pads.

This photo courtesy of Ted Kieth's FB page was taken yesterday.

"Go ahead, throw the yellow one. — at Baldwin City Lake. "

The Baldwin City Lake course is mowed fairly well and looks beautiful. But be warned, the rough is rough on about half the holes. If you get off of the mowed fairways in shorts you will bleed. The tall grass is marked OB on the signs. That being said, it was my first time there and I really enjoyed the course. Better than expected.

Thanks to all involved for putting on another great event! I enjoyed it despite the weather.

No name but there is a distinguishing mark on it.

Sounds good to me. If some need to start early they can. I'll be there with beers on.

I could do either. Can you make 11:30 Bird Father??

Friday Traveling Ace!

Blue Valley of Kansas hole #10. 210ft with a FLX Avenger SS. $146 payout. The line was good but it was like eight feet too high. Hit an apple laden hedge branch and shot straight down into basket. No chains.  ;D

I guess Americans don't care for the coffee.

The first Amsterdam coffee shop I visited had a coffee machine, but it was out of order. I actually wanted a coffee too.

Nice shooting Shanan! wow.

He really did shoot well. He had a putt on one that skipped off the cage and rolled down the hill for bogey too.

Also of note, Amando would have won Advanced, tied for 2nd in Masters, and been one out of the money in Open!

Nice ace TJ!!

I would likely show for Atchison as it is one of my favorites in the area and it's been awhile.

Went to play a round at Fox Hill Flyer last evening. I was there about a month ago and the woods were filled with trash. I went this time with trash bags expecting to play a slow round while filling bags. Someone shows that course love! It looked wonderful. It would be enough to make Cooper send letters if it was known what group did the pick up. ;D  I managed to fill two very small bags while playing.

Also, the course was really busy. Saw Johnny D. and many other singles and groups. As I was leaving there was a Mom, Grandma, and two kids starting. All were throwing discs.

I managed to break par for the first time on the course too.

Fox Hill = Positive Trifecta.

Three people with PDGA numbers under 5300, including Jamie Barry, competed in Pro Grandmasters in Columbia, MO. Jamie won the division!

At the same event Fred Smith won Pro Masters and Ken "Tank" Franks was second in Open!

Way to represent KC!!
