Jordan is 100% Correct. I could give you the map now, but it wouldn't do any good because of all the temp baskets that need to be set.

I can tell you what holes will be used for Roc Vs Buzzz that ARE used on the normal Swope layout. 2 Short, 3 Short, 9 By Rocks, 10 Short with Mando, and 11 Short Pad to short pin. The other 16 pin locations are never used for any of the Swope configurations.

Just to reiterate, even though Jordan hit the nail on the head. When I said "Cold" I did NOT mean Blind.

I can 100% guarantee that it will be an even playing field.... Unless you're throwing Buzzz! Then you will have a disadvantage! Burn!!!

The course map will be given out on the day of the event. All I can say is don't expect to show up cold and roll right into a Bird after Bird. This isn't the Ace your Wheaties!

Rob H,

The Ledgestone Insurance Open discs have no impact on the Approved discs list for this event.

If you notice in an earlier post of available discs, I mentioned that Elite Z, Cryztal Z, Ti and ESP generally have a GLO or FLX variant. The Ledgestone Discs are just limited runs of Glo FLX or Ti FLX etc...

Needless to say, they are approved for the event.

Timko, You can purchase a players pack at anytime even if you are not playing. Unfortunately they will not be given out prior to the event.

The 30 dollar entry fee covers 1 KC Pro Flat Top Roc, 1 Cryztal Z Buzzz, Ace fund, lunch and Beverages. Obviously if your not present day of the event you will not benefit from the Ace Fund, lunch/Beverages. (Don't mean to insult anyone's intelligence but there's always one)

As stated in the FAQ section of the initial post you cannot receive 2 of the same disc. You will receive 1 of each if you purchase a players pack.

There have been extras ordered to meet public demands. People are encouraged to support the KCFDC by purchasing extra Roc's or Buzzz's individually after the event. individual pricing will not be available until the day of the event.

Side note: DGW usually orders the X-outs/Misprints for this event and may have product for sale that wont be at the Tournament prior to Sept 20th.

To anyone that finds themselves not being able to sleep at night because the Classic Roc isn’t allowed, I have put together the following information that played a part in this decision.

Disc Allowed                             Available plastic

Buzzz                             Z, Ti, ESP, Pro-D, X, Cryztal
Buzzz OS                       Z, Ti,
Buzzz SS                       Z, Ti, ESP, Cryztal
Buzzz GT                       Z, Ti, Cryztal

Most Discraft Premium Plastic comes in a FLX or Glo Variant

Rancho Roc                   DX, KC Pro, R-Pro, XT, Star, G-Star, Champion
Ontario Roc                    DX, Pro, R-Pro, Star, Champion
San Marino Roc             DX, Star, Champion
Flat Top Roc                  DX, KC Pro, Star
Roc +                              R-Pro, Star, Champion
Roc3                               McPro, Star, Champion
VROC                             DX, G-Star, Champion
Rocamunga                    G-Star

Most Innova plastic offers Glow, Metal Flake or Flat Top Variant

All models seen above (Innova and Discraft) are listed as midrange drivers by their respective companies and are all 21.7cm in Diameter. The Classic Roc is listed by Innova as a Putt and approach disc that measures at 21.2cm. (Size Matters)

**Wasp cannot be used for the event either and that’s what the Buzzz was created from. Food for thought**

The Roc obviously has the advantage when it comes to selection, but that didn’t stop Team Buzzz from winning in 2014!

Lastly to anyone that wishes the Truth, Ibex, Axis, Apache, M1, Ghost, Aftershock, Flying Squirrel or some other midrange be accepted in this event, here is my piece on that.

Once another midrange proves to have a World Championship built upon its shoulders multiple times by different players, both men and woman will it maybe…maybe be considered to be ranked with these two elite discs. Even then, that disc will need to find another Tournament Director to make an event for said disc to be beaten by the Roc and Buzzz Throwers!

Long live the Roc!
Long live the Buzzz!
Let’s be honest, every other Mid is only playing for 3rd place.

It belongs to Lee Killian. Super tall guy. He lives close to Dynamic Discs. If you take it there they know who he is.
