hey der gunar! what a great idea for a topic! i checked out the links and i like the directions you're heading in! dunno your name and can't tell if we've played dg together before, but hopefully soon!

i'm a musician at heart and started and played in the band asbestos here in kc and then in nashville from 93 to 98. majored in vocal performance (opera) in college. asbestos was together in its different forms till 04. i just went to nashville for a reunion show earlier this month which was hilarious bc there had been 15 or so members since the start and only 4 couldn't make it to perform! i only sang/rapped on 4 songs but it was fun to play a show that morphed from how we started which could be described as rage meets beastie boys meets weezer, to tool meets incubus (after i was in the band).

asbestos has a myspace with the newer stuff above. i wrote "wake up" but that recording was just after i left...i'm actually looking for a new project to get into now tho. hmmm...

Bad news.......Pasd hit a SNAFU, as some concerns came about with regards to wether or not the pads will blend in well with the design of the park.......I am planning on meeting with the neighborhood associations to ensure that we are all on the same page.  My argument is essentially that the pads will be less conspicuous than the railroad ties that have been there for the last 3 years.....

But I played the course yesterday with the new teeing areas, and the moved pins, and boy its fun to play out there.

Come on out and see for yourself.

I plan on doing some shore up at hole #1 hopefully Keizer will bring the generator on Sadturday ~11 to finish up there and work on a stronger clearing from 1......

hey jack, i'm in to help tomorrow. i'll call first tho b/c of weather

sweet...i'm in for uhh, today. i've got cordless 18v kit, too and other caches of retarded amounts of tools. sounds like we could have a powpow to lay things out, and then when it comes to power, have multiple areas going at once if we have enought people! EXCITED! i guess we don't need to worry about the weather except for our tootsies since we're not pouring. i'll stop blabbering and go charge my stuff up.

Found and Lost / Re: Stupidest Disc Color You Throw?
« on: February 21, 2009, 05:48:59 AM »
This thread is why most of my winter golf is played at NIIIGHT, then it doesn't matter what color the disc... but if your light is worn out or not! When the spring rolls around i hope to be thawed out enough to not have to go looking... idealogically at least...

i thought this was awesome Dick! first time i played it in "high res" it was a bit jumpy, but the second time around it was clearer than most youtube videos i've watched. regardless, thanks for "putt"ing this together, man. next year if you need any help just ask House... he can do the color commentary... hehe much love House, naw, i'd be glad to help out any way i can for your next vid.

yeah, i was an unpaying and unfortunately, rated player that saw the chris timko "putt" on 17...SICK. as for the format of the tourney, you can always pay your entry and just play the first round only, but most of us need that round to feel like there is a chance for redemption!

i agree with you that we need to do a better job including new players in the club. isn't there a beginners league at rosie on monday nights? maybe we should push that instead of having the incentive be monetary.
