Danny: Every day...
Ty: What seems to be the problem then?

I saw the Nailer there today taking 32 oz out at a time with a big gulp cup...he looked like Smeagol mumbling something about his "precious"....

Prairie Center / Tree on #14
« on: October 14, 2014, 03:16:04 PM »
Hey just a heads up, the tree that is to the left of #14 (big boy near the pond), a section of it has come off and lodged itself onto the hedge tree next to the basket. BE VERY AWARE when you are heading toward the basket, it would be wise to contact Olathe P&R and let them know. It is large enough to crush a tank, let alone a small little flicker like myself. I sent an email, but if someone has a direct contact it is a safety issue.

Also, I'm surprised no one is concerned about playing Water Works. It is the one course where someone broke their ankle after a big rain during the Wide Open.

The Nailer almost broke his yesterday playing out there....good luck to all in the tournament today!

I think it's funny that everyone is taking this seriously... Next I suggest that we bring in the dredge from Bering Sea Gold to extract the disc's...

*Ams Must be Pre-Registered by Friday September 5th at 6pm to receive a Players Pack*

So, what's in the players pack?

Suffice it to say this is a GREAT cause, and the players pack I believe if you signed up was a disc and a shirt.  The fee is nominal and the event is great.  Please do remember that NO DAY OF REGISTRATION IS ACCEPTED-this means many of our "local pros" that have a tendency to show up Saturday morning.  You want in, register in advance, or call Scott and let him know you will be there, or Drew.

Ice Bucket Challenge ACCEPTED!  Now.....to the person that gets to dump the ice on me I think that it should be auctioned off that morning on the course.......provided that is ok by Bitter79, or does that $50 only allow you to do so?

Yep i'd rather someone who know's you do it, I'll just put $50 in the fund for the enticement for you to do so, auction away!

I have no issues with you Jack....but for anyone else needing a suggestion.....since its going to be 46 Degrees that morning...I'll throw an extra $50 into the Tree fund if you do an Ice Bucket Challenge that morning. It is .... for the Tree's...as stated in the aforementioned post.  ;)

Only Discraft I throw is a Nuke OS max weight power flick, or a nice gentle backhand Buzzz for an approach.

Driver: Max weight champ Boss cause Chicks dig Flicks. When I need to use my weenie backhand mid 160's Champ Sidewinders, Star Roadrunners, or Star Valk's depending upon type of angle, or a blizz Boss with no wind.

Mid: Champ Tee Bird's purchased from Loomis so well beat in (still got em 2 years later Loomis, they are serving their second life well)

Thanks for the info D Craft! There are several Disc golfers that work for the JCP&RD as well as a few of my former co-workers. Great people all around and very open to the Disc golf community. We are lucky to have such a great P&R that keeps finding ways to further our sport that we all love, and who work with people like Scott to help fund and design new courses for us to play. I will try to attend one of these myself!
