Yes. 12-16 people a week on average.

Charles Bryan is listed twice...  3 tournaments and 1 tournament.  I think he played 4 and not 3.

Thanks for pointing that out Mike.  I had not noticed that I was listed twice, only that the I was missing results from the Mighty Mo on the first line with my name.  I sent Scott a PM about it yesterday.

Hit hole 3 (Blue) at Stocksdale today with an Opto Fuse. Threw it just right of the pin and it held straight the whole way and faded into the chains. Dan C., Paul B, Paul K and Josh H all on the card and none of them saw it  :( All but Dan heard it hit though. Had a great round going through 3 holes...-4 after three  ;D

Liberty, MO - Stocksdale Park / Re: Liberty - BRC League Night 9/29

I would definitely be interested and would plan on being there.

FYI, I tried to play the course Monday, even left work early to make sure and get there with plenty of daylight left only to arrive and there was a cross country meet in progress. I checked the Liberty schedule and didn't see anything listed for Monday but I don't know if other schools use the course as well?  Is there a way to find out when a meet will be using the course?

For anyone who doesn't know yet, there is a sign installed between the road and hole 1 tee pad with a large map of the course showing all of the pin locations.  Speaking of pin locations... do you know if there are any plans to move any of the blue baskets to their alternate locations anytime soon?

Hey everyone,

A coop use agreement has been made between Liberty Parks and Rec and the club.  We have been given permission to begin leagues and they will likely be on Monday nights moving forward.  We are running short on daylight and I advised Liberty Parks & Rec that we probably wouldn't get any more than one or two league nights in this year before we are playing in total darkness.  They said that we could maybe do a glow league here or there, but that the park does close at sunset.  That being said, I'm trying to gauge interest for a league on 9/29 and possibly 10/6 if we think we can squeeze it.  We would need to tee by 5:30 at the latest and would certainly be playing all the shorter pins.  I would send out cards as soon as you have a 3 some, but admittedly I won't be able to get there until 5:15 at best.  Is it worth starting up this year?  Can I get a few verbal commitments?  Shall we just wait until spring and let the grass really take hold that was seeded during the course implementation?  Thoughts?

I lost a yellow trident on hole 5, pin high and left down the hill somewhere yesterday. It has my name and number on the inside rim and Feldberg's signature on top.

FYI, I have a case of beer sitting on ice in my truck right now for any and all legacy league participants this evening.  :) Come on out and play some dubs!

There were two people weed eating around the trees, baskets and other obstacles tonight clear up until dark while I was out there so with any luck that means they will mow tomorrow.

Young Park - Blue Springs / 9/25 skins?
« on: September 21, 2013, 12:53:26 PM »
I am going to assume that league wont be running again next week so if we can get a few people out next Wednesday, 9/25, I would like to do $.25 skins and get on the course by 5:30 at the latest.

I played the course yesterday afternoon and basket 9 was moved to the straight pin position sometime after we played Wednesday night (one less basket to move!).  I'm not sure what anyone else would like to see moved, but for speed of play (except 6) I'd like to see:

4 moved short
5 moved right
6 moved left
10 moved short
13 moved short
14 moved right
15 moved short
18 moved short

I realize that is a lot of baskets to move, some of which probably have not moved since the beginning of the year so if anyone else has suggestions, please speak up.

John, I sent you my contact info, please give me a call/text anytime and I am more than happy to help with moving baskets.

I, and I am sure several others who play this course regularly would like to have some of the baskets moved. With the fading daylight, I think several of the baskets should be moved to their shorter/easier placements. I am more than happy to assist with any moves since I know what a pain some of these baskets are to move.

Young Park - Blue Springs / 9/18 League-less update
« on: September 18, 2013, 10:31:55 PM »
Three of us out tonight to play league, no one to run it so we played a casual round. We made it through 17 before we conceded the round to darkness.

Dalton- 58
Kelly- 60
Charles- 61

Highlight of the night was Dalton's near deuce on 13 long.

I hit my first ever ace last night, Wilbur Young hole 13 (short) with an MVP Tangent.  Dan, Pate, Lori and Mason witnessed... Lori was actually walking up the fairway when I threw and got to watch it all the way into the chains.
