I don't think that is jumping, I think that is playing the advocate of unfortunately cameras won't work.....unless you do this.... to me it pokes more fun at the cops than anything else.

That has got to be the nicest possible spin on his post imaginable.  Since he called him a Troll.  Anyway Good Luck with the project.  If I lived closer I would probably try to help.

Game cams Jack.  Hide them in the trees where the dballs dump their junk.

Troll... ::)
A clear picture of their face, plate #(assuming they own and register a vehicle)  and  in the act  is nearly  impossible from one game camera. Unless we install 500,  $109 dollar cameras, batteries and film. To catch someone who already can't afford to pay to get rid of their trash.

I know what you should do Failer, go get a $100 gift card from Dunkin doughnuts  and offer it to the officer that writes the most illegal dumping citations for that month.
Jack I'll be there to help if you want my cynical ass out there.  I just don't appreciate my bathroom  reading enjoyment removed like it never happened.

Damn dude!  Jumping all over someone trying to help.  Calling people names?  Wow.  Not much of a community here.

Prairie Center / Work on First Hole
« on: October 27, 2014, 08:47:48 AM »
I know Mr. Butler oversees this course and wanted to ask/suggest about doing some work one hole 1.

I would first want to say that I would be willing to volunteer my time to help in this endeavor.

The two issues I'm sure everyone is aware of.
  • With the unannounced removal of the left pine tree, the left pin placement is no longer very interesting.  I would suggest moving it somewhere behind one of the two remaining trees or some other protected placement.
  • The Right placement has started to heave out of the ground resulting in the basket leaning.  Not terrible yet but by next year I am sure it will be bad.

I have never placed new collars in the ground so I don't know the time/effort required but I can't imaging it is significantly different from doing fence posts.  I would think with four people we could get it done in a day.  And since the fall is here, traffic should be less (maybe).

Just a thought.  Suggestions?  Thought?

Harold,
I was out there on Friday and nobody showed.  What's up?

Just kidding.  Wow, what an ambitious undertaking for one person.  Congrats on pulling it off.  Wish I could have been there.  Hope you had some fun to.

You know the old saying...No good deed goes unpunished.

Great Job!

General Banter / Re: November 15th Club Elections/ Voting Item
« on: October 26, 2014, 09:28:29 AM »

If you remove this clause you are opening up the by-laws to potential misuse of club activities.

I absolutely agree with this.  It is a conflict of interest when a person can vote in such a way that can benefit them monetarily.  That being said;  A forum is an inadequate place to discuss such an important topic.  This needs to be worked out at the meeting

Bag Tags / Re: 2015 Bag Tags
« on: October 23, 2014, 02:17:49 PM »
Can I assume we need to wait till 2015 to buy a Bag Tag if we didn't participate in the Club Championships?  Or can we buy them early?

I'm looking for tag #123 then I will disappear till 2016.  The weight of the 300+ tags can weigh on a guy. haha

Seriously man, your plastic is gone.  Don't you get it? The pond was put there by "The Man" to keep us buying His corporate plastic circle tossers.  It's a messed up conspiracy dude.  I think Paul McBeth and Ken Climo put it in to keep profits high and our spirits crushed.

On the other hand I like the dock idea.
