Blue Valley / Re: Big Blue Pin Placements

This is the current set-up, The alternate pads are at #4, 10, 11 and 13. The maps at BV are dated/graffitied/missing and are being replaced - so no they don't help alot.

Since there are no red baskets out at Blue Valley right now I took the opportunity to move the course to the alternate layout. What that means is - don't use the original/long pads on #4, #10, #11 and #13, instead use the alternate pads.
1. middle par 4
2. short par 3
3. alternate par 3
4. middle par 3
5. short par 3
6. long left par 4
7. short par 4
8. short par 3
9. alternate par 3
10. alternate par 3
11. alternate par 3
12. alternate par 4
13. alternate par 3
14. long par 3
15. short par 3
16. short par 3
17. middle par 3
18. middle par 4
It is set up at as a par 59, but it is very short (for Blue Valley).

Bill I am sorry that I wasn't clear on where to meet. I very much appreciate your willingness to help! I hope this misshap doesn't deter you from helping in the future. On the bright side I did weed eat the few trouble spots that I wanted to get, took out the broken stantions (so we can put up the new flags) and took the disgusting plexi glass off of the marquee so that it can be cleaned up. There really isn't any more weed eating to do until the park gets mowed - and all of the rain is holding that up.

I'll be out there weed eating/etc. at 10:00 this morning if anybody would like to help beautify the course for the 2016 Wide Open. Should only be for a few hours.

If you can't make it out to help on Sat. come on out on Sunday. I would like to concentrate on weed eating a couple of areas - so if you have a weed wacker come on out.

I forgot to say thank you to everybody that participated in this fantastic event. Nate Z. and CJ H. came out to Blue Valley - and the LaunchPad crew was out at Swope. Also thank you to the Missouri Naturalists for coming out and helping with Blue Valley - You all are awesome!

I can't make it on Saturday, but I will be out there on Sunday and Monday. I have been out there for the last couple of weeks picking up trash, removing downed limbs, etc. - the course looks great!  What it does need is weed eating, the marquee cleaned up (with a power washer), flags/stantions installed, and some kind of maps (since the new ones will not be ready in time). I will paint circles on Monday. Kreeger and I will start to move everything into WO settings starting tonight - and we'll pull the red baskets. Jack can you help with maps/stantions? - Those are what I need the most help with.

We put some new pin placements out this week. We started out with a par 5 on #4, then put a tough par 4 on #7, a short par 3 on #8, and also a par 4 on #11. I think we are done with the new pin placements so now we can get some new maps made. Also Dan Cashen wrangled up six really nice benches for Blue Valley and even brought them out and helped install them. The park looks great -come on out!

I'll go up there Steeler. If 4-5 went up there we could knock it out in an hour and then play a rd. This Saturday at 9?
