Did Cubby photoshop the words on that Coke sign in the link?

I like the idea of having bigger score boards to work with, or a cheap projector to display it up on a large surface.  Seemed to me that there was a lot of congestion under the pavilion due to players simply trying to figure out what hole they were starting on.

Another thing I would love to see regarding the chili cookoff....   A short description of the chili visible to those choosing from several dozen crock pots that all look the same.  I heard some people comment that they liked their chili pretty plain, or really mild, and hated the potluck format because they never knew what was in it and often got one too spicy.  How about a short description such as "Beef chili, hot spicy, red peppers, jalapeno" or something equivalent?

In fact, it now is a pro sport. There’s now a Professional Disc Golf Association, with a whole book of rules and regulations.

"Now"?  Hasn't the PDGA been around for 30 years?

Yeah, someone sent my a private message saying they were on top of 17's basket.  But I didn't notice the PM icon until the next day.  I drove out right away when I saw the private message, but they were gone by then.  I walked the entire course.  Unless somebody dropped them in the disc return or something, I'm afraid they're gone.

I appreciate the effort, guys.  Thanks.

Hi,

Might be a long shot, but I lost a black pill shaped glasses case, with my eye glasses inside.  I'm thinking it might be around the parking lot by hole #2.  By the time I realized I lost it, it was too dark to really look.

If anybody comes up with it, I would be most appreciated.

Great charity event for Big Brothers Big Sisters, and a chance to play Thornfield.  Features both competitive and casual divisions.

I've got a brand new Starlite Valk 150, yellow.  Thrown maybe 5 times.  I'd trade you for the Stiletto if you're willing..

Sure as long as the Valk is in great shape.  I live in Lawrence, work in Overland Park.
I'm playing in the B Pool for Midwest Am Champs so will be at Rosedale 8-9am Saturday, 8/3.  Waterworks in the afternoon sometime.
I'm also intending to play in the Friday Traveling League.  1pm at Waterworks (8/2). Probably will be at Rosedale sometime in the AM.

Take a look.  If you like what you see, you have a deal.  I can meet up with you Friday or Saturday...

It's an Innova driver.  Not sure what.  White disc with custom black stripes.

Has the name Lucas on it, with a phone number.  Called and texted the number, but no response.

Anybody know Lucas by chance?

On #18, in the trees short of the basket.  GBO stamp.  Name and number should be on it, but not sure how visible.

Alcoholic beverage reward.  She's a favorite.

Thanks.

This is the course that gave me my love for disc golf.  It's a nice little course.  Nice driving lanes, with a few challenging holes.  Water in play for 4-5 holes, but several of those are 2' deep stream.  #13 is a nice water challenge.  Not too long, other than one hole.  Nice atmosphere.  The only thing that sucks in the $5 parking fee.  Pretty flat.  There's a swimming beach less than 50 yards away from one of the holes as well, if it gets too hot.

Lots of memories from that course....

Seems like those rings on the inner rim of the basket could knock a disc around when you wouldn't want it to....
