So I had a change of plans and can't make it to league tonight. Ace beer will be postponed until Thursday at WW league.

I'm still waiting on a personalized "thank you" letter from certain individuals. Ive checked both email addresses and my junk folder. So incase "anyone" needs it, it's kcRhyno@yahoo.com

*Ahem* Read the post I made in General Banter. I said outside groups not DG related.

And I was going to ask Jack if there was any specific group that helped out of if it was just individuals. So, was it just individuals or was it any actual group? (Churches, Boy Scouts, HOA's, etc...)

So long as the rain doesn't keep me away.

If that happens it will be rescheduled or could be pushed to WW Thursday.

I got #8 at Wyco league 5/17 with a Champion Teebird.  Ace fund is estimated around $400.

Sweet.$400 your cut or $400 total (so $200ish for you).

I happen to know a few people who can sign.

Send me some more info (time, compensation, etc...) and I can approach them about it.

Thanks for helping get all these together, Dan. Getting kids in now is the best way to grow the sport.

Nah, I like the notion of you questioning my logic better than the acknowledgement of my ideas giving to you.

What does this mean?

Can we get a Jack translator?

I think it would be nice to finish closer to tournament central so that if groups finish earlier they have a chance to see the pros play... or I just want to be closer because it'll be closer.

But in all reality, I don't think there is an appreciable difference in the difficulty of the two courses. At most a stroke or two? There are a few bigger number holes at Woodhenge but there is also great opportunity for movement in the final holes at Blackthorn.

All I'm really saying is that it doesn't matter too much, they will both provide ample challenge and are similar enough.

Concur. It looked great.

Some of the short grass fairways are a little narrow so everyone in the group will have to keep an eye out to keep the flow going nicely.

And watch out for snakes.

Is it still open for registration? I see 91 players on the pdga site and looks like you can still register on the dynamic discs site.

It is. Scott split it up so that we can have two groups playing at once (one on Blackthorn and one at Woodhenge and then flip flopping).

Get signed up!

Just waiting for a west sider to put a plug in here telling us to keep it in the fairway and it wouldn't be an issue. I agree, true statement. But the count is still 1-0. And the horse is already dead, quit beatin it!

Boy! If that isn't the definition of a Straw Man I don't know what is.

Can I get a t-shirt that says straw man on the back? Coop is not letting this one go. Fallacy he cries! FALLACY!

When the fallacious argumentation ceases so shall I.

Until then I think Straw Man would be a wonderful nickname for you and it should be mandatory to be present on any apparel worn at a tournament.
