Yes that is my PDGA number and that was my disc, but actually I believe I traded or sold it to Dan Quinn at the Rosedale Amateur last year ... so even tho my number is on it ... it really belongs to Dan.

Neckbeard, I admire your hair stance, if only I could go 11 months without a haircut. I recently paid $14 for a haircut, what a waste of money ... I should have just bought a pair of scissors. And the gubermint has it all wrong, they're looking at tax cuts for the rich and free haircuts (in debtor's prison) for the poor. $14 for a haircut ... I could have bought a new disc or two D plastic discs. Keep the wisdom coming, and I don't care if it's uplifting just insightful is good enough for me.

I only wish I lived in Missouri and could vote against Prop A. As a Kansas who works in KCMO, I have no complaints about paying 1% of my earnings to the city in which I work and spend much time enjoying its many amenities. I agree whole-heartedly with Jack that disc golf would suffer if voters eventually decide to repeal the earnings tax. That's my 2 cents!

I'm a child of social media.

Does this mean you were conceived on Facebook or Twitter? Are you a virtual baby? Is Max Headrom your daddy?

Gongrats to Leo! Your a gentelman in victory! Cooper, I agree, you will find a Club Championship sooner rather than later. Wish I could have been there, but it's great to see so many club members out.

Tom B. -- I noticed he said his birthday was today, while Cindy's was yesterday, so I thought I would go ahead and wish him a fine happy birthday! Enjoy!

Then again my Chiefs do play Sunday at noon and missing that game might make me cry.

Watching the Chiefs game might also make you cry -- I hope the Chiefs have learned to stop that highly touted Browns running game -- so I suggest you come on out to Rosedale this Sunday.

Wow! Kansas City disc golf is amazing, especially when we have to list local courses that we want to play but haven't had a chance to yet!

BTW, California Trail is near 135th and Pflumm, just a few blocks north -- I think you turn west on  to 132nd or something like that. And I've played the Blue Valley Kansas course twice -- its OK for a short arm like me -- its a prairie course so I wouldn't suggest playing a week like this one, and speaking of that ... how thankful are we that we didn't have a week like this last year when the Worlds were in town ... can you imagine the DNFs ... I bet nearly a quarter to a third would have dropped out from exhaustion if they were playing two rounds in 100+ temps all week ... but that's another topic.

OK local course I have yet to play ...

thornfield
ted's dread
old pike 18 - played when there when i beleive there was 9 or 12 or something like that
smithville
St. Mary's
english landing (parkville)

I also have never played at Atchison, Ottawa, Lake Melvern ... so much disc golf to play so little time!

I went to Northwest Mo. were I got to learn email in the early 90s on a VAX system and we played role play games on Gopher net servers?? -- but didn't consumer me ... not until I could get porn did I really care about technology. Growing up we had an Atari 600XL computer growing up which had a PacMan and Centipede game that kicked the old 2600 ass, so when most were chomping on rectagular power pellets we had the real arcade looking game at home ... I knew a little basic, but just not the techno nerd that I should be.
