Just registered. Looks like it is filling up. Only 30 spots left in advanced. Looks like most divisions are at least halfway full.

I know last year was a special year, but just wondering if there would be a players party and stuff like last year? That was pretty cool.

If you didn't get rid of it tonight I'll trade you something for it.

I've been trying to figure out what the $20 goes towards other than food and beer. I know a while ago I played and got like a disc and/or a t shirt for paying to play. I just don't see anything like that listed on the flyer. Only lunch and beer. And a raffle you have to pay extra to get into.  Don't get me wrong, I love food and beer. But I have friends who I'd like to try and get to come but they don't drink beer and aren't going to want to pay $20 to get a bbq sandwich. I know it supports the club which is awesome. I'm just trying to figure out if the flyer is missing info or if the $20 only covers food and drink. Thanks in advance for the clarification.

Any chance you will be doing any extra competitions like at the GBO such as putting contest, distance contest, skills challenge, anything like those kinds of things? I think last year they did glow which was a lot of fun. Just wondering if there will be anything like that for this tournament. Thanks for all the work you do to make this an awesome event!

I could be wrong but looking at the schedule I think there is a mistake on Saturday afternoon with C and D pools. It shows C pool at WW at 1pm and D pool at WW at 2pm. I don't think us in C pool can finish Ww in an hour.  ;D

There are 3 courses in Edmond area just about 20-30 min south. Lake Arcadia has two 18 hole courses. They are shorties. Probably average around 275ft. Or there is Mitch Park in west Edmond. It's a fun course. Mix of wooded and open. They've done a lot of work to it in the last couple years.

Looking at the weather it is likely things will be wet. Is this still happening rain or shine? Obviously if there is lightening it would change things but just wanted to see if weather will affect anything.

For all those who are going to the GBO and enjoy a good beer, Dixon Jowers posted this on Facebook. "No beer in the players pack but Radius Brewing will be releasing the Glass Blown Ale in special co-branded glasses on Wednesday!"
I love how much the city of emporia gets into this! Can't wait!

Thanks for posting Cade!

Played BV yesterday while they were mowing. With the fresh cut it will be nice. Just wondering if anyone knows what the current course par is for COF with the new placements and set up? The new pins were fun to play so thanks to those working on this course.

So are courses in final tournament layout? I know BV has some changes. Does anyone have a map of how we will be playing it Saturday? I'm hoping to go out tomorrow morning and play the tournament layout. Just want to make sure I play the right thing.

My company (non-military) has issued some challenge coins over the years for several events.  I would love to see something of this nature...challenge coin, pin, dog tag, or even an iron-on patch for some of the larger tournaments.  I think collecting these would be fun.

Love the patch idea Van. That would be cool. I think the buttons sound pretty cool too.

Would people have the option those nights whether they wanted their round to be PDGA rated or can they save a dollar and opt out. Just wondering if it would be mandatory or optional on those nights? I like the idea.
