That was one hell of a bar-b-q, and a great night of disc golf!  Fred thought of it all!

Thanks Fred!

I, along with a good friend (David K.), and my wife (Kim) played the Des Moines courses over the summer ('09).  EWING PARK was the favorite course amongst the group.  Beautiful would be the correct adjective! ;D Grandview Park (also in Des Moines) was a close 2nd.

Theiss, How did the anchor sleeve installation go last week?  I have not noticed this design on other courses, but the concept seems to have much practicality, as long as they are protected from the mowing crew.

Regarding the status on the baskets, has there been a decision on the type of basket, and is there a date for the baskets to hit the ground?  This is a work day that I am looking forward to...   ;D

Planning on heading to the course sometime this week to check out the bridge by 16 and 17.  If they did as good of a job on the bridge, as they did on the footings, I'm sure it does look first class!

Congratulations to David/Slim on a well deserved win!  Highlight for the day was either Slim almost making it to the green on #15, with his t shot, or Texas Toast tackling the creek on #13 commando style (on hands and knees) ;D  Hell no, he wouldn't take the road....what do you think he is?!?!?!  Much love, Billy  :)

I completely disagree.......

Anyone with the desire to own a basket and the lack of moral character required to be a thief is capable of this.

I have no idea why one would immediately point the finger at juveniles. It would take tools and a truck to pull this off to begin with.

I suppose I was metaphorically speaking.  I should have been clearer.

This is highly disappointing.  Only juveniles would be capable of such a task. I will be watching craigslist
