Found and Lost / Disc Found by Hole 1 Tee Pad on Water Works

Before beginning our glow golf experience, I found a disc sitting by the Tee Pad of Hole #1 on Water Works. If it's yours, describe the disc...and then find bnorris's disc, and we will exchange HAHA

If it's your we will come up with a way to get it to you, but I leave Saturday for a week....so hurry up!

General Banter / Am Tournaments?

Got a question, whats a good tournament for an Ammeter?  I just want to get out and have fun but also compete with people at my skill level. What would you recommend?

I am average thrower I believe, for only playing a month, I average +9-11 on 18 holes and it keeps dropping.

Shawnee Mission / Shawnee Mission Warning

Watching the news and reading a few articles, I felt this was necessary to post. Please be careful with your loved ones and your pets out on Shawnee Mission, there has been a few pet deaths from copperhead bites in SMP. So when you are out on the course for league or fun play, make sure to watch where you are stepping and keep an eye on pets, children and fellow disc golfers!

I am going to try and make it to league tonight, first league play at SMP. I play it for fun, but I figured I would give league a shot out here! Good luck and be safe everyone!

Bag Tags / Bag Tag Sticker Lost #293

I just grabbed my disc golf bag and was showing a friend when i noticed the sticker on the bag tag was missing. It's #293, which is really high but I am upset. What do I do?

Last course I played was USM, but I don't know if it was missing before that or when it was lost.

WYCO / Wy Co grill out before league play

Anyone up for grilling out before league play tonight??? I got some brat burgers and corn on the cob...I'll be firing the grill up around 330-400pm. I got some drinks to include water and miller lite. I'm staged in the shelter where we all meet up every Friday! Come out and enjoy the weather and possibly get some practice throws in!! Found and Lost / Found a Boss Hole 16 at Shawnee Mission

While looking for my Valkyrie in the woods, i came across a Yellow Boss on hole 16. It looks like there was once a number on it that started with 913. Anyone know someone who lost this disc there? it's kind of chewed up, looks like someone was hungry. If it's yours or you know who's it is, send me a message or reply here.

Beginners / Looking for one-on-one training

I have been receiving pointers from people throughout the league while I play, which I really appreciate. Is there anyone out there that can point me in the right direction for some disc golf lessons? I can watch all the DVD's I want, but I need to get hands on training. I need someone who knows what they are talking about and a reasonable price. If you know anyone you can message me or respond here. I really appreciate it and can't wait for when I can actually play and hang with everyone!

Found and Lost / Avenger SS lost First Hole SMP

Hello,

I lost my Avenger SS yesterday on the first hole at Shawnee Mission Park. This was my favorite disc, it took a sharp right behind the huge pine tree and I could not find it  . If anyone finds it, please contact me. I should've wrote my phone number on the disc, but I was stupid. It's a white Avenger SS.

Beginners / New disc golf player looking for leagues, players and tournaments

hey! I'm new to the sport of disc golf. My sisters fiancée showed me how to play last week in Minnesota. I'm loving the sport but playing alone will get boring. Anyone looking for a new player to tag along with and possibly give some tips?? I was told I have a natural throw, but I want to learn more!! I'm also looking for some other venues to play. I live in Kansas City and I work Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm on fort Leavenworth. Let me know if anyone wants to play! Thanks and I look forward to playing some disc golf!!
