Add in Jim and Debbie Taylor hospitality and you would be crazy to miss this event.

This is one of the longest running and best events in Kansas.

In a new twist this year we have tweaked the format in an attempt to speed up play on Saturday. The 24 hole course has been divided in half and we will play Frontier East and Frontier West (both 18 hole courses) on Saturday. On Sunday we will play the normal 24 hole layout.

We will play the "Original 18" holes on this Epic course at least one time during the weekend.

Tournaments / Kansas USDGC Rep.
« on: July 28, 2011, 11:51:21 AM »
I have the job of picking a person to Represent the Sunflower State. I am not as familiar with many of the players in the KC area as I am the other 2/3 of the state.

If you would like to get yourself or someone from the KC area on the short list. Please go to find the USDGC thread on the forum and let me know.

I would really like to limit the list to people who have the ability to get there.

Remember the Championship is open to any player and will be using a handicap system this year.

I have the job of picking the Kansas State Rep.

The last few years I have just picked a tourney that the people who contacted me were going to be at, and we played for it.

This year the person will have to travel and earn the spot.

More info can be found here.

Let me know if you have any questions.

What up KC?

It's time again to get the Kansas Disc Golf Association Oz Tour up and running again. We had more KC area member then ever before last year, and we want more this year.

The KDGA has changed over the last few years, and we are still changing,

New ideas from last year that are still in effect for next year.

KDGA paying PDGA sanctioning
Roll over Ace fund (We payed out several tourney aces last year. The biggest just over $500.)

Some of the KC area members from last year: Babbit (Lawrence), Quinten (Topeka), Pete Cashen (KC), Bruce Hudson (Topeka), Rick Rothstein (KC), Keven Montgomery (KC).

The cost is $25.00.

As the state coordinator, one of my jobs is to pick a rep for the state of Kansas.

At this point, I don't know of a single person who would like to go. If you live in Kansas, you are a current PDGA member, and would like to go to the USDGC. Leave your name here.

The last 2 years our reps have been.
