« on: April 08, 2014, 01:59:21 PM »

Spring is here and it's time to kick off one of Omaha Nebraska's most historic disc golf events! 28 years, thousands of players, and tens of thousands of man hours have made this event a permanent mark on the calendars of countless disc golfers across the midwest. As always The Fling will be held at a temporary course hand picking the best land Omaha has to offer. In the next few weeks our team will be aggressively pursuing more added cash and unique items for am player packs. So far we have $1500 added. Stay tuned for regular updates.

The All NEW Oak Island DGC (Designed by Ross Brandt):
One of Minnesota's newest championship level courses installed right in the heart of Bancroft Bay
Park in Albert Lea, MN. Disc golf fits perfectly into the weaving native oak trees, surrounded by the
natural waters of Fountain Lake. That's right, this course is on an island! Bancroft Bay is covered in
breathtaking views of nature and unique wild life that thrive along the lake shores. The disc golf
course itself offers a variety of technical holes, from tunneling lines to dangerous water shots, and a
few long bombers that are sure to utilize every disc in your bag. Come experience it for yourself, if
you're up to the challenge.

General Banter / In need of help!

Kansas City! I desperately need your help... My brother sister, and their new born recently moved into a new place in West Port and the landlord didn't pay the gas bill. Their gas was then red tagged and the house is full of mold. They tapped all finances to move in and now they have to move out. I'm trying to figure out how to get down there as soon as possible but not sure if I'm going to be able to. They're moving out this weekend, can anyone help them move or help in any way? Call me or post please!

Hey guys, this has absolutely nothing to do with disc golf and but I thought I'd share a small success with fellow discers. I got thrown into a project as music video director for our celebrity record label here in Omaha, NE. We had no direction and no budget for one of there less known bands. Unexpectedly, it's getting really good reviews! Help me keep the momentum going and check it out. The more people that view it, the more valuable it becomes.

Thanks for the support!

Sorry for the short notice guys, Worlds kind of threw me off.

New Belgium Brewing Company is hosting the first regional bag tag challenge right here in Omaha and surrounding areas.

Rules are: if you have a Fat Bag Tag and are playing ANYONE, ANYTIME, ANYWHERE, than your tag is on the line. NO exceptions... NO whining... and YOU MUST HAVE have fun doing it. During tournaments tags are on the line only within your group. At the end of the 2007 disc golf season New Belgium will host a bash granting number 1 praise. These AWESOME bag tags are made of wood with custom New Belgium logo stickers, and cool hoppy colored beads adding a nice earthy look to your disc golf bag; while advertising the best beer in the nation. Feel privileged to have a company such as New Belgium on our sides.

If you'd like to reserve your Fat Bag Tag today then don't hesitate to call 402-306-7335, and leave your name and contact info. At the end of the round on April 28th you will draw a number to see what tag you'll start with.

Fat Bag Tag - $10 (no limit per person)
