Here's the quick response I got from LSPR. I asked about adding in another 9-18 holes or if that is not an option, putting in short pads for younger players/older players to mix it up. I also asked about having tournaments out there as for whatever reason that rarely happens. Last but not least I made mention that the rough isn't mowed enough. One time I even kicked up a full size turkey out of it and didn't even see it when I was walking up to it. Response as follows:

"Thank you for your comments about the Legacy Park Disc golf course. We appreciate your suggestions concerning expansion of the course and additional tee boxes for younger players. We currently do not have plans for expanding the course or adding additional tee boxes, although in the future we may consider changes to the course. The course was built as a recreational level course and placed in the vicinity of two shelters, a small playground and restroom facilities. The shelters are frequently rented for family gatherings and organizational events. Tournaments at the course are welcome but are required to meet certain requirements so as not to interfere with other uses of the park and shelters. We will review our mowing schedule, we typically mow the fairways on a 14 day cycle and make adjustments to the schedule as needed, for instance the most recent cycle was 8 days and this week the fairways will be mowed on a 7 day cycle. The rough is typically mowed three times per year and more if needed. The rough has been mowed once already and another mowing is scheduled before July 1st. "

The more posts we get to the link Eric posted above the more they'll realize what potential the area has and what we'd like to see done to make it thrive. It is what you make of it!

Not sure what you meant here, but this is an annual thing. It won't happen again 'til 2014. The Fall timing last year was just to squeeze the event in and get it off the ground. Tank talked to us about an individual matchplay bracket format that takes place over 4 weeks at each matches convenience. It sounds interesting. I'll get more information from Tank. But I think I get the gist of it. I may try to put one together for September-ish.

I thought we were doing it twice annually. I guess I just didn't pay that close of attention. I will most definitely be ready by then. Thanks for the info Tracy.

hoping to make it back before the next go round-surely I'll be back in time. I know Tank is looking for a little vengeance...my roc will be waiting

Congrats on the win West side. But don't get too comfy holding that trophy. It'll be in better hands within the year!

It's anybody's game on any given day - regardless of who has more skill or experience. Now, can we get this thread back to it's purpose?

I'm going to try and hobble out to see some golf this weekend and root on the East side. Good luck to both sides, may the best team win. Just keep in mind, again, that we're supposed to be a cohesive group here and all part of one club. I'm guilty of talking smack on here, but it's all in good fun. No reason to get our panties, diapers, or any other undergarment you all choose to wear in a wad.

At the end of the day the scores will do the talking. There were plenty of upsets last year and I'm sure the same will happen this year. Tank is by far a better player than me, but I beat him 4 and 3 last year. It all is going to come down to who's putter decides to stay in the chains and who's doesn't.

Kid's got talent Loomis. Don't put the W down yet. Who were you hoping to play? Cuz our other top players will surely be facing the people on west side with more talent than you.
