General Banter / Re: Traveling to KC

If you're camping at Fleming Park the closest course is Wilber Young Disc Golf Course at Blue Springs South High School.  However, I don't know that it is the best course on the Missouri side although it is certainly challenging and a fun course.  Most people will tell you to play WaterWorks which is just north of downtown KC.  It has been and probably always will be the best known course in the metro.  I'll let the guys from the West side comment on what course to play in KS.

If there is a question it should be a group call...how is this any different from a normal round/league?  This isn't a sanctioned event.

It's a little different than normal.  You can't have a group call when you have 2 Missouri players vs 2 Kansas players.  Who breaks the tie? We need a Canadian Volunteer with no allegiance to either state to come be a Marshall.

Haha well played.

I just couldn't resist the open door invitation. All in good fun, you know this.

Nah he just don't like TD's in general right Utz?  No brews, no parties, what's a guy gotta do to have some fun on the disc golf course?!

Tournaments / Re: East Vs. West 2015

We have a team. How cool is it you cant even spell your own teammate Chris Newburg's name right. SUCKERS!
Soon everyone will know how to spell his name. That's probably why Jordaan couldn't make it, he was afraid he would get matched with him. Oh, did I spell Jordan wrong, see what I did there.

I have a legit reason for not making it....would love to be there and play whomever you threw at me.  Rather than make you look like an idiot on here for questioning my absence, I'll just wish the East side good luck.  Hopefully I can make it next year.

Plenty of people love Blue Valley...just not the average casual player throwing Destroyers for 250 foot shots.

My apologies as I have yet to get keys to Kujo to move pins.  I hope this isn't throwing a major wrench into things.  Life has been a bit of a whirlwind lately so I'll do my best to get them to him asap when I have a spare day.

405 feet to center field if I do recall correctly.  It's about a 7 foot fence.

I would venture to guess there are a few of us that could get it out at the K...if my knee gets to feeling better I would hope I make the cut.  Bowen, Bures, Perry, Ossa, Hesting, A. Villareal, Arnold, Loomis....

Have somebody chuck a few into the fountains from homeplate.  That ought to razz the crowd some.

This has been done at a minor league game somewhere.  I must say that would be awesome.  Oh you thought baseballs flew a long way?  Watch this... ;D
