B-Tier no you don't A-Tier or anything above you do need to be a current PDGA member, but the B/C/X-Tiers you don't need to be.

Just know that you'll be charged an additional $10 on top of your entry fee if you're not a PDGA member.  If you plan to play more than 5 tournaments in a year, it is definitely worth your money to become a member.

Never played a 'real' tourney.  I am a bogey to par type player.  I have been playing super causal rounds for a few years.  I am not trying to win anything, just want to get involved.  Is this a good one for me to dip my toe in on?  I guess my biggest fear isn't my play or score, its just holding a card up b/c i have to throw 2-3 more strokes a hole......  Suggestions or Advice for this noob?

Bogey golf isn't anything to be ashamed of!  If it is your first tournament I would suggest playing in the recreational or intermediate division as these would probably be similar skill level players.  The entry fees are cheaper and you'd be able to get a players pack as well I'm sure!

I presume P&R made it out to move baskets before the event?

And others can't take a joke.  I promise Peter is doing everything he can to get the course set up in time.

Jeff Campbell and Peter are meeting at SM Park later this afternoon to move baskets.

Problem solved, now EVERYONE can have a great day!  Hopefully with three days of prep time everyone who was worried about baskets being moved will be able to birdie said holes.   ;D

Well I see someone is having a bad day. I would say if you want to be a smartass keep it to yourself. No one else wants to hear it either. I would say you just need to go back to bed. Thats all I have to say to you.

I'm having a great day, thanks for asking!  #firstworldprobz

If everyone is so concerned with practicing the short locations then throw to the stinking short pin location!  If I remember right there is a big white pole sticking out of the ground at Shawnee Mission for the placements not being used on each hole.  "Well then I can't putt out" you might say...sure you can, $10 says you can't hit the pole.   :o  I know I couldn't, but at least I would be playing to the correct placement and would know what disc I want to throw.

Liberty P&R confirmed that they would move baskets by Friday.  If anyone goes out there early Saturday and for whatever reason they are not moved, give me a call and I can run out there within 15 minutes or so with keys.  I don't foresee this being an issue, they are pretty on top of this course.

I have keys and can move baskets unless the P&R guys want to do it.  Let John and I be the ones to contact them about that stuff, though.  If the aforementioned 4 holes are all that need to be done it'll get done before Saturday.

Are these the only baskets that need to be moved?  5, 8 & 18?

There was a box on the sign-up sheet saying if you were playing the final 9 or not so the TD's for the satellite events should have somewhat of a headcount (except for those who checked "unsure").

Any chance we could keep a running updated list of scores on this thread including all satellite results?  It looks like PHill & Prairie Center have been accounted for.  It's my understanding that scores will be entered and cards made for the final 9 regardless of where the original 18 hole score was posted.  But then again, it might be pointless to post on here since there will still be 18 hole scores coming in the morning of the final 9 as well...

Mulligans would've been a good purchase in hindsight.

Jose is running it and it was alluded to in the other thread.  Yes, 9-1.  He was setting pins today.
