I agree with Dick....let the lower level players start with the tougher course and the pros finish with it.  A pro that throws 400+ feet has a better chance to make a move on the longer course than 300' throwing rec player.

I like the towel idea.  I have tons of shirts, but keep losing towels.  The tourney at Belle Park (a DD tourney) a couple years ago gave out towels with our name on it and we (wife, son and I ) thought that was awesome.

Another notable was Andrew Walters improving 90 positions from 124th last year to 34th this year.  He was just out of the cash, but that was a heck of an improvement over a year.

Andrew Walters turned 21 on Thursday.  We're going to celebrate with a round today starting at 2 at Rosie up top with food (brats and dogs and the fixins) to follow.

Wind took my purple, autographed Cannon hard left on hole 14.  Could be around 9 tee box or 8 long ish area.  Name and number on back, Brittney Blair autograph on front.  Would REALLY like to have this one back.

A large portion of the lower local turnout for the KCWO as comparied to the GBO is the fact that a tournament of this scale needs A LOT of  volunteers.  If the volunteers (myself and family included) weren't helping, we would/could be playing (I took the whole week of vacation and my wife took Thurs/Fri for it).  Don't mistake what I am saying....I/we made the decision to help instead of play and am NOT complaining about the need for volunteers.  I AM saying that this tourney needs the players to come from other areas (Des Moines, St. Louis, Wichita, Omaha, and all other points not in KC) in order to have the field fill up.  What can we do to entice that? Personally, I thought the GBO did an AMAZING job on the player pack at a moderate entry fee.  Are we doing that good of a job?  Quess that will be answered in a couple weeks.

Soooo, did Cerner defend the title today?   

They didnt even place.  DST (55), Garmin(60), and Sprint(66) 1-2-3.  Cerner shot an 83

My wife Mary and her partner just took first in the A division with a record (we think...or at least VERY close) 55 for DST.

I was throwing a 144 at GBO on Sunday.  The wind would initially take it right, but it did come back nicely.  I got my longest drive to date in fact that day.

Open invitation....the tag in question will be up for grabs at the next league I play (Smithville League on Sunday unless something keeps me from being there).  If it is not lost to another player, it will be "lost".  This convo is over....any issues have been worked out tonight.  No anger...friendship is worth more than a stupid piece of metal.

You have had the #8 tag for a month.  In that time you have only defended it once against someone other than a family member and there were some shenanigans after that when the tag was GIVEN back to you, not won.
 It is your prerogative on the off card challenges you accept, but only accepting them from family members “to keep the tag in the family”, your words, is kind of weak.
 If I had known I was dealing with Cerberus I wouldn’t have even asked about the tag after the first round Saturday.  To be told that it doesn't matter that we were on the same card it wasn’t an official tag challenge because we weren’t in Kansas City, again weak.
 Yes, you are correct, you would have left Lamoni with the #8 tag because you won the second round and I would have given you the off card challenge that is how it works.  But to try to justify the BS you guys pulled by saying you won the second round so it didn’t mater.  Weak, weak, weak.

Do you really want to go here?  I can describe SEVERAL of your BS antics regarding keeping tags in YOUR family or trying to get this one back that you have pulled that are even WEAKER than this one.  You really need to look in the mirror, act your AGE, and learn how to enter scores on your phone app before you start talking sh*t to me about this crap.

If you're at a PDGA event out of town and someone from KC is on your card, the tag IS in play.

The way the original rules read that I posted state "a KCFDC league event".  Dick Parker's post a little further down states "KCFDC league or tounament"  If I misinterpereted that, then my bad.

yep.  doesnt matter if you are in kc or japan, casual round or tourney.  if you have a kc tag or any tag that is the same kind as any other person on your card, they should be in play.  if not, you are a COWARD and you have wasted your money and the person's you are refusing to compete against.  thanks for the donation to the club and all, but the only challenges possibly not accepted should be off-card challenges and doubles rounds.

I have been called alot of things in my life, but never a coward.  Unless you have defended your country in enemy territory, dont even THINK about calling me that again because you are enjoying the ability to play this game by people like me.  If you have defended this country in enemy territory, then we can have a different talk off the disc golf course and determine who is the coward.
