First league of the year! Weather was a bit overcast but we managed 8 players anyways. We played, on hole #3, to a longer basket up on the triangular traffic island past the long basket. Likely to play other temporary placements as the year goes on.

Open
Peter Bures - 54 - $10.50
Steve Thimmesch - 54 - $10.50
Carl Pledger - 58 - $1.50
Ben Lutz - 58 - $1.50
Cade Garrelts - 62
Derek Ozkal - 64
Steve Carnegie - 65
Marc Johnson - 78

If we have decent numbers again in future weeks, we can certainly offer either an Advanced or a Masters Division if people are interested. Unfortunately there wasn't time to organize that this week. We'll look to have a 5:45 tee next week.

Ace fund is up to $416.

Both me and Jon Thomas hit aces in the 2nd round.  He got 8a and I got 17.

Do we know what the real Wide Open configuration will be yet? It's supposed to be a combo of Little/Big Blue right?

In my mind, a nice way to settle that is to play the longest settings possible except for #17 and #18 on the big course, which you substitute in for cutting holes #9 and #11 in half like in Little Blue. So-

1. Only pad - Long basket
2. Only pad - Only basket
3. Only pad - Long basket
4. Long pad - Only basket
5. Only pad - Only basket
6. Only pad - Long basket
7. Only pad - Short (Regular) basket
8. Only pad - Long basket
9. Long pad - Short basket
10. #9 Short pad - #9 Long basket
11. Short pad - Short basket
12. Only pad - Short basket
13. Alternate short pad - Basket in trees
14. Only pad - #12 Long basket
15. #13 Long Pad - #13 Long basket
16. Only pad - Only basket
17. Only pad - Only basket
18. Only pad - Short Basket

I love the OB, for the record. I threw out several times on Saturday but I wouldn't loosen it up at all.

I trust you'll figure out the best setup, Tracy.
