Tournaments / Re: East vs West Team Championship
« on: August 12, 2019, 10:00:08 PM »
I'm obviously biased on the whole thing, but I really feel like each team should just be able to have one or two 'exception' spots.

Like one of the Captain's Picks can live on the other side of the state line. Surely that's something that both teams could benefit from?

Maybe that person can only play in one round or something? To keep it fair to the current residents who worked hard to qualify? I'm trying to give concede somewhere, surely there's a compromise in there.

So check-in is in the morning, so this not a flex start event, right? Normal shotgun, just 1 round.

So it looks like the league will be at BV-KS on the Monday of GBO week? Instead of the Wednesday?

General Banter / Re: Best Courses after/during rain in the KC area

Shawnee Mission can actually be pretty muddy after rain, especially on the front 9. The holes higher up on the hill are fine, but the first few can be sloppy.

I would vote no paint, but I won't throw a fit if there is some.

I presume the rules will be similar to Roc/Buzzz in that respect?

So you can throw Rocs, Roc3s, etc, but no Classic Roc, since it's technically a putter? And a Buzzz means SS/Regular/OS?

What's the structure for the bonus payouts? Same formula as for normal league?

General Banter / Re: Why I don't go to Wyco league

I usually work on Friday nights. If I had a night off, I would consider WyCo League as one of my many options for the evening.

Is the mando currently marked? I was having trouble figuring out which tree it was.

This is gonna be crazy lol.

I'm sure everyone knows this but the basket on #6 is missing the ring that connects all of the inner chains. It's been this way for like 4 years now.

How many aces do you have now?
I aced #15 at Waterworks League on Thursday! 240 feet with a KC Pro Roc.

That was Ace #4.
