Cool cool.  Let me know if you somehow lose a bunch of firm putters :)

Yeah, interested. You only looking for cash or maybe some plastic?

Only trade I'm really looking for is maybe a GL Fury.  Bag is set, just want to try the latest from Lat.

Otherwise, yeah, just cash.

Yo Cooper.  I've got a handful of firm First Runs I'm looking to sell.  Let me know of any interest.  Here's what I've got:

First Run Firm Red - 9/10 - Just some practice basket tosses
First Run Firm Ice Blue 7/10 - Very faded, almost undetectable wiped flight plate ink (Why you'd ink there, I don't know...)
First Run Firm Ice Blue 7/10
First Run Firm White - 10/10

A couple softs, but I think you're only looking for the hards.

Lakeside Hills / Re: Lakeside Hills aka Birdland is OPEN!

Finally made it out to play today.  Awesome course.  Very scenic and just a pleasure to be on during a beautiful 60 degree day like today.  The headwinds are no joke though, especially on the front 9 by the lake.  But it was damn pretty to look at as I watched my discs get whipped around :)

The navigation signage was very much appreciated as this thing covers a lot of terrain, turning and bending around every corner.  The back 9 seemed to have a bit less of this signage though, I did notice.

Teepads really didn't bother me.  I'd be more interested in seeing tee signs, as a lot of these baskets were tough/impossible to see from the tee, and made even tougher by the setting sun over the lake turning everything into a shadow and glare.

Don't let any of these small critiques dissuade you from my overall opinion of this course:  I frickin LOVED it.  Pretty long for my arm, but still found myself with doable upshots on most of the long holes (not all) and gave myself plenty of par attempts.  Even had a birdie attempt, maybe 2.  For the first time out, and throwing blind off of some tees, not bad.  I really can't wait to get out there again now that I know where some things are.

Couldn't believe on an awesome spring evening like today, I only saw 2 other groups on the entire course.  1 was a couple + child that I think only played 9 holes, and the other were 2 nice guys I played a few holes with before I jumped ahead.  Is this course still a secret?  Cause it might be the prettiest in KC.

I am terrified of what this thing might look like in the summer though.  Lots of thick, mushy grass right now makes me fearful that it will be a wasteland of knee high weeds in the summer.  Combine that with tons of trees, thick foliage, and what I'm sure will be a sh1tload of bugs and snakes next to the water, and I have my concerns about playing a summer round out there.  We will see.

Sorry for the stream of consciousness, just wanted to get my thoughts out on a mini review.

Found and Lost / Re: Lost TP Tursas Down Under, New Hole 9

My first FOUND disc ever here in a forum post.

I FOUND IT!  Played another round Down Under tonight, and decided to kick around somemore leaves, and holy sh1t, there she was.  Can't believe it made it through 2 full days of beautiful weather and countless players without someone else finding it.

New Hole #9, aka the leaf collector, as it's the lowest point on the course, seemed to eat my Gold/Yellow TP Tursas.  It's a beautiful disc, so I don't really expect to get it back if someone finds it :(

No name, no number -- but if you return it to me, I'll give you a reward disc.

Somewhere just left of the pin, or so I thought...

Might be able to join you on the later side of that window.

Would be my first time at Prairie Center -- could use some navigation help.

Any news on registering online yet?  Can I register/pay by phone?

And what sizes of shirts are available?  2XL?  3XL?

Found and Lost / Lost at Rosedale Down Under: Orange GL Striker
« on: September 06, 2012, 09:29:56 PM »
Sigh.  Back to back postings.  Back to back rounds.  Same hole, #13.  Pin location is down in the abandoned bunker, and felt like the disc was headed straight that way.  But nope, nothing.  Orange Gold Line Striker, blacked out ink on the back.  Reward disc if found.

Still looking for a Pink Ti Buzz on the same hole last week too...

Sadly lost my Pink Ti Buzz (no ink) on #13 Down Under today.  I believe it was just to the right and past the whole, but it seemed to disappear into thin air, so I suppose it could be anywhere.

I've got a reward disc for you if it turns up.

And if no numbers are on it?  They re-sell it I assume?

Found and Lost / Lost at Rosedale Down Under: Clear QJLS
« on: June 14, 2012, 09:00:16 PM »
Hole # 18, off to the left, closer to the pin than the little valley (I think.) It is a clear translucent QJLS with about a halfway rubbed off stamp, no ink.  Just acquired it via trade today, scored a nice birdie with it today, and then foolishly threw it as a 2nd drive on 18.  It hit nothing and just kept sailing and fading.

Lost Yellow Stalker at Shawnee Mission Park - Hole 16 left into the tree line and finally gave up after about 40 minutes of searching.Neon Yellow Stalker, Z Plastic.  Almost brand new, no name and number on back (blacked out section from former owner.)

No ink on either of them.  Lost a Pink Translucent Opto Fuse on #14 Down Under, somewhere to the right.  And an Orange Champion Starfire to the right on #10 Up Top.

Would love to reclaim either of the discs if they resurface.
