Found and Lost / Re: FOUND - 41 discs at Bad Rock in Liberty

Great Work Nova. If you happened to find a Max weight Champion Ape, I think it was either Purple or Blue, I stupidly threw it and landed in the pond somewhere about 10 months ago. I think it was brand new so I did not have it marked yet.

should be mid 50's those days as a high. If you keep it around the JoCO metro i'll come out and throw a FTL round or two, but JJ and Bad Rock are a bit of a hike for the day after Christmas with family still meandering around town.

A little food for thought.

An example from "Ball" Golf. Yes the Pro's make ungodly amounts of money, and the "Am's" very little. But why? Because of the massive amount of "Am's" that love the sport that's why. The golf courses around KC that make the most money? It isn't Wolf Creek, or Indian Hills Country Club. It's the shorter, and often looked at as "cheaper" courses that make the most money because they put through the most rounds (mine continues to be the most played and profitable course in the KC Metro). Yes there is a place for the high end elite country club (AKA KCWO) but the driver of the sport is the weekend golfer that plops his or her money down to have fun and play a game they love (Rosedale Open). Without the 99% of amateurs that support and spend money on the sport, there would be no Tiger Woods or Jordan Speith. Or at least the amount of money they have made. So frankly McCabe and Nate Doss can thank you and me for continuing to purchase discs, bags, and demand more courses because if we didn't they would not be getting the sponsors and pay outs that they earn for playing a sport they love. Amateurs drive every sport, be it the 10 year olds playing soccer, the high schoolers playing football, or even the video gamers playing COD 4. The am's are the reason Pro's get paid.

Big thanks to Dick, Jack, Crispian, and everyone else who volunteered and helped with the KCFDCC. And congrats to CD and the rest of the members who won their flights!

The circles are cool, but they may do it because their large rough unit is a pull behind - PTO Driven gang unit, so to protect the baskets from being damaged. Maybe they take the 72" zero turn out to do cleanups and edge work and let the big mower eat the majority of the hay. But what do I know, being a turf guy. Im sure Packer Dave has the inside scoop.

Don't forget folks, we are not used to having this much grass in the middle of august. They might have cut back mowing schedules counting on typical weather and rain patterns and forgot to (or didn't schedule enough help) switch it back to spring schedule. Usually our discs are skipping a good 50 to 60 feet by now instead of a hit and stick shot. Enjoy the nicer weather and softer walking paths.

Barter Town / Looking for...
« on: August 06, 2015, 08:54:03 pm »
A 2013 City of Fountains White World. I will trade...Cash? Beer? I might have a disc you use, but being a flick player I doubt I have much. I checked at our local Disc Golf establishments today for one and they have none left. Maybe Scott knows where I could find one, or Jack, or somebody? I really loved my COF World and since it has been eaten by the wild Olatheans at PC I would really like to find a replacement or two. Yes I have other Worlds...but this one/type is my fav. Please and thanks for any help.

I lost my 175g Grape Champion Ape left on Hole #4. Hit the left tree in the gap, I think it kept going but dove farther left into the tall grass? 2 ice cold beers for it's return.

I might still have mine if I didn't give it to Nailer or one of the guys, I will look just in case you can't find it, and If I have it I will give you mine or maybe accept a "trade" of some sort.

Utz said "Nards" and my mind went directly to that movie.
