Yes, that looks like what I was thinking.

Something like a hospitality manager sounds about right.  I just think if there was a focal point where someone could refer to, from a distance and not having to go to say swope and ask, and get a fairly quick response.  So say I end up with a with 3 hours on Saturday out of the blue I can hop online and find out what is needed.

I thought everything ran super smooth.  In the performance flight.  Love the tee times and I thought the performance ratings were fair.   Players pack was real nice, I love getting clothes over discs.  I did get a gorgeous disc though.

I think the one thing missing and I believe would help with volunteers is communication during the tournament.  I know you guys are busy, but to have a method to communicate needs during the rounds may help.  Perhaps it would be helpful for those that have time at the last minute.

Only thing that seemed wrong with the performance flight was that it seemed to exclude women and juniors due to the ratings floor.

Star P & A Aviar 175
GStar Mako3 180
GStar TL3 172
GStar Destroyer 170

So if you have 4 people that want to play novice, the division must be allowed?

By hole 1

Yea, I figured the same thing.  Maybe a change was made recently, but I found the 2011 version and it states the same thing.  Which was prior to me playing disc golf.

It clearly states that it is at TD discretion to allow fewer, so it was just interesting to me.  Maybe I should actually read the competition manual rules.  lol.  Reminds me of when I learned that OB is almost always on or over.

Sounds good.

I always see it posted as 3 or more and thought that was the rule.  Interesting to see it is 4.  Learn something new everyday.
Thanks for the clarification and link.

Is the minimum of 4 per division correct?

I like the idea of ratings based tournaments, wish I could have played the big blue monster.
I like the idea of lowering entry fees and skipping the players pack and giving unique tourney specific items.  Maybe a hat or towel or other swag that denotes division champ.
I like that Rob provides products from different manufacturers.
But keeping the entry fees the same for amateurs and removing the players pack and or payouts would be a mistake, IMO.  There are a lot of ams who cannot compete in open divisions and don't want to donate.  Don't do what bowling did and only focus on pros, it damaged bowling a lot.

I thought the Wide Open was an A tier.  Will it be a B tier this year? I thought A tiers had to be scheduled by December 1st?

As much as I do not think the Chiefs bye week should come into play and the championships should simply be set every year to a specific week, like the 1st weekend in Nov.  With so many football games being played on Thursday's and Monday's perhaps those should be also considered if the Chiefs have one scheduled next year during the time frame considered.

I gotta question, can the championships be setup on disc golf scene for pre reg and have options for paying membership and for tags.  That way only cash has to be collected day of.
