Don't warm up too much now. You'll need your arm for the extra holes.  ;)

A suggestion.

Tag the cards out sharing experienced players with the newbies. That way tips from the more experienced are shared throughout the round.

If that's already bring accomplished, my bad.

Just pulling your chain!!

Don't change a thing!  It's one of the most participated leagues compared to others.  Something to be proud of Aaron and Co. Obviously ya'll doing a great service out there and the constant player participation confirms it.

I'll have to get my arse out there this Thur. A welcome relief to a four day weekend.

It's a forum and it's serving it's purpose.
And so I vote against the lock down.

I frequently enter tournaments knowing I won't place high.  In my first two years, I was happy if I simply didn't place last.

Uh, you finished pretty high yesterday Rob.  Good show Mate! ;)

Quoting Lewis ...

"The women who throw over 400' are analogous to the men who throw over 600'. Kinda like the women who can serve a tennis ball 110mph are analogous to the men who can serve a tennis ball 140mph. Or the women who can drive a golf ball 300 yards is analogous to the men who can drive a golf ball 400 yards. Point being that there are women who are better than the average man at all kinds of sports, but comparing average vs. average or top pro vs. top pro, the men are going to compete at a higher level. It's just one of those biological facts that, on average, men are more athletic than women. But Page Pierce can rest assured that I'll probably never beat her at disc golf, just like Venus Williams can rest assured that I'll never beat her at tennis.

I don't think it's so much about the head game or practice as it is about the physiological differences between the genders. I don't pretend to be able to describe the differences or what their effects are on a person's performance, but I suspect it's more than just height or breast size. If she wants to prove me wrong, that 6'8" center on the Baylor women's basketball team is welcome to take up disc golf."  UNquote.

"By 2016, the military must open all combat jobs to women or ask for special exceptions."

And this means Special Operations too, Army Rangers, Air Force Special Operations and Navy Seals. The Standards WILL NOT be changed.

Here is their email to voice your opinion Nova.

And you and others, can ask them other questions too.  They are extremely busy with full time jobs, running three businesses too and community volunteers so I'm sorry on their behalf, no one can get back to the questions as quickly as anyone wants them too.

Hey, it's not a pdga event, on one of the top five disc golf courses in the area, IMHO, (opening a 2nd can of worms?) ;) it's private too, and for charity.  Don't sweat the small stuff.

(Just in from Susan Mitts, my contact)

Registration starts at 8, play begins at 9.  Not a flexible start time.

The 2nd round will start around 1.

We want to give everyone an hour lunch break.

It will mostly be short tees however there will likely be 4-6 alternate long tees for those who sign up as experienced players.

Thanks for your interest and for signing up to play!  We will do our best to answer the questions on the forum in a timely manner.  It's going to be a beautiful day!

* * * Anything else?

I'm asking the questions.  Hang on!  Any more questions?
