This is great.  At no time did I ever say four wasn't correct.  I never said Rob was doing something wrong.  I did say where I found three was important.  I'm pretty sure, at one time, it was three men to open a division and no minimum for women or juniors.  I cant find anything to back that up though.
We can all agree that a division can be represented on a single card or group so it is not always two different things.
Guess I shouldn't have pulled a Jack and hit enter before I reread what I had typed, but thanks for being all over it guys.

OK guys I know I have played in events with three people in the division.  The three of us were sent out on a card, just the three of us.  That would be considered a group.  The three people on the card, in the group, was the division.

Not positive, but I think at one time it may have been 3 and was changed to 4 maybe last year?  Not sure.  Falls under that TD discretion that a division could be opened for 3 if the TD chooses to do so.

Three is a magic number.  A division can be opened with one player, at the TD discretion.  A division can be considered a group if they can all be on one card. Any group with less than three competing must have an official with them.  Three is used, in most cases, so the division can be opened without needing extra officials.

Brandon Deere was on our card.  His score is above Rhonda.  He had a 51 also.

That what the worn out name is on the back of the blue first run judge that was left in my basket at Swope on Saturday.  Number is not readable.  I cant get it anywhere until Friday.  Then it will be at Disc Golf World.

Rosedale / Ace Fund
« on: August 20, 2015, 11:17:00 am »
Can anyone tell us what the ace fund is?  I heard it is over $1000.  It doesn't matter how much over really, but a real number would be great.

Thanks Jack,  open mouth insert foot.

There are no cut offs in amateur divisions.  The ratings numbers, for divisions, are suggestions.  "If you are rated 'X' you could be competitive in this division".  The only magic number is 970 and there are conditions on that.  Don't get caught up on ratings.  The rating system has flaws.  They might have entered something wrong during registration also.

The Ace Race is here every year.  That is a Discraft event.  I don't know if enough people throw MVP to have the MVP event.

You have been misinformed. And thanks to Nate Zier we have current agreements with PHill and Liberty. KCMO is on a three year cycle and will be renewed in September. BTW, we pay a percentage of all income recvd on KCMO courses annually. Thanks to mostly Jack the KCFDC has a pretty good relationship with KCMO P&R.

Great job Nate!

I'm thinking about signing up and only wearing a bikini and shoes.  Even Jack will tell you, you cant play in a tournament without shoes.

That's great Jack, I get why you picked those colors, but I don't think green is a way to go.  Think about all the sleeves that were painted red that have been hit by something.  Now you want to paint one green and have it blend in with the grass.  Red should always be the shortest and then extra colors added between blue and black/gold, IMO.

Hole 14, I think, the hole with the big bush to the left that obscures the bike trail.

A couple warning signs.  One by the tee pad, post spotter.  One up the trail, beware of disc flying at high rates of speed that will knock you off your bike.
