is this a glow event?

If you play really slowly, it will be.

Oh yes!  The hot weather and longest daylight of the year that is the first day of summer is coming. That means Wacko Wyco Summer Solstice Doubles is also near.

So come on out to Wyco this Friday, June 21st. Bring your favorite beverage and Friday evening Wyco attitude. We'll be celebrating West Side victory beginning at 5. East Sider's are welcome! Tony Todd is going to cook up some delicious chicken taco fixings. There should be enough for 40 or so people. Don't miss out. Get there early, 'cause when it's gone, it's gone.

Please be sure to get signed up with me for the backwards dubs no later than 6:00. See the original post for entry options. I want cards on their tees and ready to shoot em up at 6:20.

What I gathered from a brief news clip I saw yesterday afternoon, "Officials" were claiming they never got the call.  They were combing through the 911 reports but weren't allowing those reports to be reviewed by the media.

In my opinion, someone dropped the ball and now they are scheming to cover their butts.

Well done to the KCFDC and all the volunteers to make the 31st a success! Excellent TD and assistant work at every course, spotters in places I didn't expect to see but were needed and great to have them.  Also not to forget all the man hours put in to prepare for the event both on course and off.  Thank you all!

What they can do shouldn't be punished just because others can't. I applaud their efforts and courage

This. Pretty unfair to call it a cheater route if the mando was satisified. Sounds more like he took the innovator route. Bonus points if it pissed anyone off! ;D

No one has actually "cheated."  Just not played the hole as it was intended.  And yes, those that took the line up 11 several years ago to create a massive backup on 11, innovated how to play the hole.  Funny thing is, the TD at the time was told, before the tournament, a mando should be put in place on 9. He kept to his stubborn ways and did not put up a mando. The rest is history  There are still players that haven't returned to the wide open because of that debacle.

This year, making it around the mando and still getting to 11's fairway is brilliantly innovative.  Yet again figuring out how to shorten the hole by taking advantage of the course.  I always felt the mando was too close to the tee.  There goes the proof.

My picks Doss and Brinster are right where they need to be.  TanK in the battle ground for my prediction as well.

Shoot 'em up team-siders; Nice shooting Matt and Dick.  Fred, Wow! Let's go Coop, Jose, Jake and Joe. Lots of golf to play. Come on Mando, take down some of those traveling pros.  CD, you got this.  looooomis! Jamie, I'm on to you.   :P

Stiles, how's that NT feeling?

Jamie, I'll put you in a drawing for a $1000 at the end of the month if you can predict my score within +/-3 strokes

So... Does it change anyone's opinion?
Can't even play fantasy disc golf with out a full blown NFL style injury report.
Sounds like
RW (calf) Probable.
TW (cuticle) questionable

What I have is not a disc.

It's a tri-fold chair with plenty of stickers on it. There's a good chance this chair belongs to someone playing the WO.  If you're in the B-Pool, I'll have it in my car Friday AM at BV and Sat. AM at WW. Sat afternoon at Swope I'll turn it in to lost and found.

Does it affect anyone's opinion that Wysocki is hurt?

and I golfed with him this week, how hurt can you be at 20 years old with a calf strain?  I mean come on, it's no nearly as bad as a masters playing injured with a hang nail, on their non throwing hand... That's serious!

I've got a 3rd degree tear of the cuticle of the pinky finger on my throwing hand; I'm out. Gonna stay home and watch the US open rain-suspension coverage.  ;D

Check in is only from 12-4 today?

hmmm,   ??? I didn't check the schedule 'til you posted this.  I can't make that window in the middle of my workday.  Oh well. Hope I'm still put on a card for tomorrow's 1st round.

I personally don't plan to be out there.  4 rounds in three days is more than I am used to as it is.  Not going to push it to 5.

Nate Doss - WEST SIDE!
Steve Brinster

Both will be in the top 5.  Nate is always my favorite, but I think Brinster is due to win a KCWO.

WEST SIDE! - TanK will grind into the top 10 in this stacked field.

But before you give it back make sure to give it a huck to see its wonderful over-stability!

And then give it back.

Thanks guys. I appreciate you looking for so long and posting here.  My latest theory; it hit Ben's truck tire cut to the right and is hiding under the leaves in the gully.  It'll be found and turned in by the kind or kept by the wicked.  I got a replacement already. Slightly lighter, but better on my sidearm.
