"Ain't Nobody Here But Us Chickens"

One night farmer Tom was taken the air
Locked up the barnyard with the greatest of care
Down in the hen house somethin' stirred
When he shouted,"who's there?", this is what he heard

There ain't nobody here but us chickens, there ain't nobody here at all
So calm yourself, stop that fuss, ain't nobody here but us
We're chickens trying to sleep and you butt in
And hobble, hobble, hobble, hobble with your chin
There ain't nobody here but us chickens, there ain't nobody here at all
You're stompin' around, shakin' the ground, kickin' up an awful dust
We're chickens trying to sleep and you butt in
And hobble, hobble, hobble, hobble, it's a sin

Tomorrow is a busy day, we've got things to do, we've got eggs to lay
We got ground to dig and worms to scratch
Takes a lot of sittin' gettin' chicks to hatch
There ain't nobody here but us chickens, there ain't nobody here at all
So quiet yourself, stop that fuss, ain't nobody here but us
Kindly point that gun the other way
And hobble, hobble, hobble off and hit the hay
Tomorrow is a busy day, we've got things to do, we've got golf to play
We got ground to dig and worms to scratch
Takes a lot of sittin' gettin' chicks to hatch
There ain't nobody here but us chickens, there ain't nobody here at all
So quiet yourself, stop that fuss, ain't nobody here but us
Kindly point that gun the other way
And hobble, hobble, hobble off and hit the hay

It's easy pickin', ain't nobody here but us chickens.

I will bring both broom and shovel, and supply some ice melt, just in case.

Concrete that is less than two years old is susceptible to surface pitting from some ice melting products.

Waiting to see if old sandbagger signs up !!
But if I remember right, last year he was somehow last person to sign up on most tournament's

Wonder how that happen

I wait til the last minute to sign up because with my arthritis affliction I never know if I will even be able to walk the next day. That's how that happens Steve. I will be signing up for the Frostbreaker, so you don't need to continue being a squawking chicken.

Perhaps it is posted, but what courses are being played for the KCWO in 2016?

I'm down for glow see you peeps Monday.  How long does it take to play the course I would like to get a daylight round in before glow

Two players shooting a close to par round at Prarie Center takes about 1 1/2 hours. Our GLOW rounds typically tee at 6:05 and if a sixome occurs it finishes around 8:45. Waterproof shoes, gloves, hat, thermal undergarments, multiple layers, and some hot hands are a good idea once the temps start dipping below 30. The lights are sold in two-packs for $3, and I personally light up 5 or 6 discs. As a new golfer to KC your first pack is on the Dynamic Discs house.  8)

Yeh Ryan. Come out for Glow Monday. We have lights for sale and duct tape available. In the past 11 years of Winter GLOW we have only canceled a couple times due to rain, or freezing rain, so it is on every Monday from October to March. It isn't uncommon for us to be out in the snow, dark, and temps near zero. We switch to a singles format in the Spring and there are multiple KCFDC leagues all over the metro to enjoy! You have arrived at Disc Golf Mecca.  8)

Pretty nice day on tap. Anybody know how much snow is still on the ground up Rosedale way and are the tees clear of frozen H2o?

« on: December 28, 2015, 03:13:23 pm »
Although playin in the snow is fun, with the roads being as slick as they are and the wind blowin around 20 mph I am reluctantly canceling tonight's GLOW at PC. Please spread the word to anyone you know that might be going out in case they don't see this post.

NO GLOW TONIGHT.
