if there's one thing disc golf could assimilate from professional boxing, is to employ those bikini clad beauties with the round cards. just saying maybe they could be spotters or hold up quiet signs, and eventually carry the final 4 leaderboards. good music may bring a good gallery too.
QuoteIt just seems that with the amount of land it could be turned into something like what is being purposed at Smithville, only a lot closer to more players. That park still needs help being "cleaned" up, and two or three reasonably sized course would generate a lot more traffic from decent people like us disc golfers.
Hope your rumors are right, b/c I'd much rather drive there than an hour to Smithville.
WOW sir...Smithville is only 15 to 20 minutes north of downtown Kansas City, or 10-15 minutes from Waterworks. You make it sound like it's days away! We will have all the details in place...trust me when I say it's a place you will want to come play. Clean, water everywhere and NO undesireables milling around...just saying sir!
Or you just told yours. I'm 32 and I do not want to wear Tye Dye. I will not I should say. It's fine for wiping up oil spills but I'm short of finding other uses.
Also, this is our PR towards the city in a sense, so do you think we would like to not have one more thing pointing us to hippies? just wondering. I mean don't you think the local hippies have enough tye dye stuff? Not that I don't like it .. I just don't like it. personally that is.
