HUGE thanks to Lars for stepping up for the women of KC! Maybe next year LSDiscs can run a women's event in Kansas city for us! The numbers are record breaking with about 420 women already signed up!!! Yay for girl power!

All i have to say is GO OLD PIKE! Its a gorgeous and fun course and lots of thanks to kevin and mike If you wanna play it and you dont want to pay membership then come to league on tuesday nights...at least one night is available to the public and for payout. i think that is awesome in itself.

Well, we played the SUPER GINORMOUS MAN MADE ICE MOUNTAIN placement last night. It was fun, and only a little dangerous. Funny thing happened after the round when I went back ALL ALONE to the SUPER GINORMOUS MAN MADE ICE MOUNTAIN to collect my 90 pound steel portable basket from the top. As I was repelling down the side of the SUPER GINORMOUS MAN MADE ICE MOUNTAIN with my somewhat cumbersome pole hole, I slipped and fell with the 90 pounds of basket landing on top of me, and then before I could get away, an avalanche of several thousand pounds of the MAN MADE ICE MOUNTAIN came crashing down on top of me. I came to, probably 30 minutes later, but between the pole hole and the large chunk of MAN MADE ICE MOUNTAIN debris I could not move. I tried digging with my hands, but couldn't free my arms enough to move much more than my left pinky finger. I felt cold, but relaxed, so I just settled in for a restful nap, knowing that eventually Cindy would come looking for me and dig me out. About 2:00 am I realized I had told her I was going to P' Otts after the GLOW round to watch KU and have some tacos. I knew she had probably gone to sleep, thinking I'd be home eventually. Around 6:15 this morning I heard the sound of frantic digging, and a few minutes later saw the furiously fast paws of Gus digging thru the crush of snow. Then we went to the Old 56 Family Diner and had some biscuits and gravy. Stupid SUPER GINORMOUS MAN MADE ICE MOUNTAIN. 

Did this really happen?

thanks timko i had fun after i got rosey out of the way! i couldn't believe it myself when i was at swope and i always love waterworks! glad i got to play like i know i can after a rough couple tournaments so far

well i can say i have heard plenty of people from KC say that they avoid that course because of the grass. i will admit i don't like to go there for that reason. another thing just because there are courses close to downtown doesn't mean they won't drive a few extra miles to enjoy a great course. i agree fully that it should be mowed more often and that if it were more people in KC and surrounding areas would go there more often.

i like the occasional dubs round. that's one thing i liked about swope league last year. i have to say the rocks are so not stupid. if you just get over them you don't have to worry about them! and thanks spencer... i smoked those non women players out there lol but i was pretty happy with my score

brand new avenger with silver stamp in woods on temp hole at ww wed 5/5. the temp hole that plays to 8s basket. it doesn't have my name on it but i would love to have it back

hey glad to see another woman on here not many play around here but you will get to know us. leagues are a great way to come out and support kcfdc also and drink and just have a blast! they are getting ready to start and i hope to play a round with you sometime
