I don't think limiting to speed 9 would change much of anything.  I've seen both Matt Crowe and Jake Bowen bomb Teebirds (7 speed) over 500 ft.

Ok, I'm going to move this to June 1/2. It just seems like a better weekend over all.

That weekend works better for me.

7 out for a snow round.  As deep as the snow was it wasn't too hard to find discs as nobody had been on the course yet.  Only one disc lost and it was a white disc so not too much trouble.   A few used ribbons, but it seemed to slow it down quite a bit and the rest of us just risked it.  We played regular/normal 18.

Eric E/Jeff 46 (-8) and bogey free
Sean Chancellor/Cali 49 (-5)
Narin/Mike 51 (-3)
Aaron/Kelly 54 (E)

Joe your dogs are the most well behaved dogs too thats what is ridiculous about this whole situation.  Completely unwarranted.  Now i've seen owners with dogs that might have warranted a talking to but to give a ticket without a warning is ridiculous and no way did you or your dogs deserve it.

I think Narin and Matt F. were even and Steeler Doug was maybe 2 over.

I have played several in nm, the best courses are in Taos, nm. Sipapu is the best.  Brent Baca memorial in Abq is pretty good too.  Tough to play alone though.  I have a contact I met at gbo from there he might show you around.

Yeah, little sloppy yesterday.  And after walking through the woods and and along the dam, I'm always way more tired than a normal round.  We had 15 out.  I'm not sure of all the scores and who was all there, but here's what I remember.

Jordan H./Matt P. -6
Jake B./Mike -5
Mark M./Partner -4
Eric E./Boyd -3
Narin / Partner - 1
Others were +

I know John B, John K, Dalton P, Matt F, Kevin W, Ron K, and one other where there.  But I don't know who was partnered with who and who what all the other scores were.

During my wife's round on Sunday morning in which I caddied for her and played too, I packed her discs into my bag with most of my regular ones I carried and two full water bottles, I said my shoulders and back were getting sore.  My wife quickly told me to "stop whining", which I promptly did.  I definitely needed some beers though during lunch.  I had played over 100 holes in 3 days, with two rounds of Rosie on Friday (with Fri traveling league), 2 rounds on Saturday (up top and down under), one round Sunday morning,  and the final nine.  However, she gets it as do I.

I would recommend that you have named alternates in case someone doesn't show up.  Another suggestion, would be to consider increasing the number of participants, maybe 18 per team.

No worries, we'll catch up some time.  I have your number we'll figure out a course to have a round at.  I hope you are over your cold, I had one a few weeks ago and that thing dragged on forever.

Thanks to all who purchased KCFDC shirts and hats.  Here is what's left.  I have few people that have items already spoken for, but I haven't worked out delivery and/or payment yet.  They are:

Joe Hesting L Light Blue Shirt $26
Matt Ecklund L Light Blue Shirt $26
Mark M. L Navy Shirt $26
Loomis 2 XXL Navy shirts, 2 M Female Navy shirts $108
Adam Cossette  L/XL Nike Hat $20
Mike Keizer M/L New Era Hat $0

And here's what I believe I have left available for purchase
2 Large Navy Shirts $26 each
1 XXL Navy shirt.  See Dave Valdiviez at DGW.  He bought one and it was too big for him.  I haven't picked it up yet but he was going to look to move it for me. If you want it, let he or I know.

And if you want one of the other large navy shirts or something else, send me a PM.  Once I complete moving this list, then I will summarize and provide a report at a KCFDC meeting on the particulars.  At that time, we will determine how we want to handle these orders/distribution in the future.  There were certain things that went very well and other details that could be improved.
