It looks like traveling Friday league is going to be there this Friday.  And if you want someone to give you a tour of the new holes any other time, just give me a shout.

It was good.  Couple of cool holes over the water.  Neither were excessively long but with the wind required a pretty good carry maybe 330 ft, but there was a bailout area on the left.  The other was shorter, less than 300, but straight into a pretty stiff north wind.  We also played three fun new holes south of the dam.  We had a small turnout, 7, so only one group and that takes longer to play.  Steeler Doug wore shorts.  Because you know, he's a man's man.  Personally, as that cold north wind picked up, I was chilled to the bone.  FYI, there's talk of a tournament there in a few months.  More to come.

Dec 22 is my birthday and I would like to do some golfing that day and I was considering organizing something on that Saturday.  Sorry, I can't on Sunday Dec 23.  I have a family dinner which I might get disowned if I missed.  I hate to pull from Rosie DU league, so I can either play the shortest course in KC or the longest, decision, decisions.  My other thoughts is to do something at Swope as it is currently the closest to my house.

11 10 12 Cent 7

Critiques please?

You need to shave, lose a little weight, and most importantly you are throwing with the wrong hand.

I serve on my city's parks and rec board and can you tell you that p&r departments will continue to put in courses that are free to play. However, the sort of discussions we have around disc golf  courses "is do we have the support within the community for disc golf?".  Simply put more players/more mainstream it becomes, the more support disc golf will receive, giving way to more courses and more options.

As much as I would love to play in city of fountains, I just can't take that much time today for disc golf.  I am though able to spend an afternoon at it.  I confirmed with narin, league is on phill at 12:30.  I will be there and hopefully I will see you out there.

I was at the Old Settler's Open and Club Championships as well East West Challenge.  I didn't get very many orders.  I didn't get to my minimum so I'm not sure what I'm going to do.  Either drop it and return money collected or go with another vendor.   Now I haven't been pushing them real hard.  Either you want them or you don't.  I frankly got mostly blank stares at the Club Championships and more reasons for why they didn't want them than I got orders.  If you still want them, PM me your name, phone number, email, size, color (Navy or Lt Blue), size for your shirt and hat size and type if you want one of those.  I planned to make it to KCFDC elections but something come up.  If someone would like to volunteer to take orders at the Leagues and any upcoming tournaments I would welcome the help.  Just send me your email and I can send you the particulars and the signup list.  Anyone?

Congratulations Narin!  BTW, I played new holes 1-6, but I'm not sure where 7-8 are.  I think I know where they are suppose to be and it looked like they were cut in but wasn't sure.  And it looked like #9 (long S shaped hole) was marked as #7 and the basket was gone.  Last time I played the new wood holes it was there.

I'm going to be taking final orders for KCFDC apparel at the club championships.  I need to get to at least a minimum of 50 shirts or the order won't happen.  I will leave out order sheets for you to fill out and then I will accept payment for what's been ordered after the rounds on both Sat and Sunday.

Dick, is it alright for me to leave the order sheets at your sign up table before each round?

Obviously I will accept cash for payment and If I have good cell phone reception i should be able to accept credit card payments.  I will have to charge an additional 2.75% for the amount.  See you this weekend.  Eric
