Prairie Center / Brush Clearing Anyone???

I am going to try and stay for an hour or so after league Saturday morning and clear a path to the 12 long placement(Old 15 Long), shouldn't take too long at all to do, but with help it would go much faster.  I will also have a brush hog out to help clear the walk path to the 15 basket and possible clear out a new 15 long placement.

I'm not up for spending more than and hour or two working on this so the more help we can get the faster it will go.

Yes...

Holes 12-16 are completely reversed.

12 pad is next to the trail between the ball fieldsjust west of where it used to be shotting at the old 15 & the long 16 pin. (need to trim trees for the 15 deep placement.)

13 pad is on top of the ledge which was in the fairway for 15 shooting at the 14 placements. (probably try to move one of those)

14 pad is just north of old 14 pins shooting to the old 13 pins.

15 pad is on the bank of the pond shooting over the corner to a new placement..put in by Tom and myself Wed. evening.

16 pad is by the light pole at the back of the ball field shooting to just below the old 13 pad location about 10 ft south of the tree line...also put in Wed. evening.

Tom and I are planning on trying to mow and clean out some small trash weeds growing around the new 15 pin before league tomorrow morning...I can't wait to give it a shot.  Keep in mind also if you do play that the pins that are there now will most likely turn into the am placements with longer pins showing up in the very near future.

Big thanks goes out to Bob for spending all day Wed with Olathe parks and rec getting the pads moved and the signs pulled.

Come out and play a Saturday mornings with us @ 11:00.  We usually play random doubles so it's a great way for new players to get into the sport and learn more about it.  Only $5 and there are several great players out to learn stuff from.

Bob won it...I tried to pull a blind wolf to catch him on the next to last hole and ended up going OB so that pretty much ended it.

We only had 7 guys show up, so everyone had plenty to eat.  The temp was perfect and pretty much no wind at all.

As far as Results, here they are if memory serves me right....

Brian & Dick = -9
Brad & Andy = -7
Jack & Carson = -3
Tom & Cali = -2

Tom can correct me if I'm wrong....

We had a blast, we set a jack-o-lantern that Tom made on top of the 18th basket which was pretty cool to shoot at.  Had a house with some cool noises playing all night also to add to the atmosphere.

Hopefully we can get a couple more people out this week since it isn't a holiday...looks like the weather will be pretty decent for the next couple weeks.

Tom and I will be providing burgers, hotdogs, buns, and condiments along with the cooking.  Feel free to bring any sides you want, chips are easy, but its not necessary.

You will need to bring your own beverages....

Don't forget the Saturday morning league starts this week also...11:00

As long as you have a general idea where the basket is then it's not bad at all.  I could see newbies to the course might get a little lost, but if they are playing leauge then they should be playing with someone that can show the way.

The ones I got were from Walmart and I believe they cost $2.49 but the only color they had was red.  I would love to get 3 different colors to mix things up and stay different from others playing.
