So is Lakeside still the home of uncontrolled and untamed ticks and poison ivy?

......not sure I have ever seen a controlled tick???

If you expect Mother Nature to be un-natural, might want to stick to an indoor sport!

I've put my share in over the years...boss, rocs, archons, rr, sidewinder and a first run dominator...they will either have "slant" or "bird father" on them and most likely no phone number.

Tom and Harold-C'mon let him do what he wants to.  This isn't the Harold and Tom Open!
 8) ;) :-*

Jack, I don't think I ever told them how to run a tournament.  I'll take that as your ribbing.
Bring it....I got thick skin.  :-D

Obviously you don't if you are complaining about a couple tiny burrs.... ;D

1 red, 1 white (Steve) and 1 blue disc...let me know if they are yours.

Tom was in the back of my truck standing on the rail with a 15' pole saw and the opening is as tall as we could reach.   Any more clearing would require a bucket truck or a couple large diameter trees being removed which is a no-no with City of Olathe.

FYI - the above photo is over a month old...much better now.

Lakeside Hills / Re: I got a new name for Lakeside

i'm sure with more play and practice the deuces will come, and then you can call it birdland proudly. burrland sounds too much like the course in Antarctica, brrrrrrrrland!

OK, I'll change my proposal.  How 'bout "Burrdland"?  There you go.

--The Burrd Father

I like this name because it describes you very well....a stick tight nuisance that keeps bugging you and has nothing better to do than annoy you!   ;D

Ya...anybody that plays or WORKS at Birdland knows all about these things....but typically when I'm a player I don't have much of a hard time staying in fairways...   :P

Summer Leagues / Re: What's going on with the lack of information?
« on: August 07, 2013, 04:21:33 pm »
PC/Lakeside has been OK...all the info is there just a little behind at times.

After the KCFDC website got the beg a few months back...Tom and I have not been allowed on this site through computer time is at home...which turns into golf or work on the course during summer hours.

I use my phone most times during work to post....and typing on a phone is not an easy or timely task.

But other then that...yeah...other league directors get your act together!!    ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
