Found and Lost / Stupidest Disc Color You Throw?

What's the stupidest disc color you or someone you know throws?

A buddy of mine throws a dead leaf brown Surge...in the winter and fall...and then wonders why we look hours for it on almost every throw.

I saw a guy throwing a full camo disc once...key word...once...he lost it the very first throw.

I love the tie dies but they can be a bear to find sometime.

Found and Lost / Valktastrophe at Cliff Drive!

Lost White valk on #7 or #8 at Cliff...actually left it down as a marker. (was hoping the group behind us might have found it...they did not!)

Then lost Yellow Valk on 9....went towards the hole and flew left at the last minute...should be down between the new 1's t-box area and the basket on #9. (looked for nearly 20 minutes!!)

Not a good day for Valks...or I guess I am trying to single handingly keep Rick in business.

Name, number and email on both disks!!!

Beverage of choice reward for safe return!!!

Paul Youtsey and Martine Augustine discuss the new Chief's Head Coach from Hole #18 at Waterworks.

The interview was from Friday, Feb 6th.



Paul is from the much famed AWG Doubles team from the Corporate Challenge and is a major Chief's fan.

Lost me tried and true Pink Cyclone, Hole #3 at Waterworks. Shanked hard left, it ran out of room and landed to the hard left, somewhere close to the rock path that goes to the bottom.

Daylight was burning up fast and my buddy was on my arse to keep moving.

Any beer...any size...shall be yours for it safe return!

As always, a 150 Yellow Valk, Hole #8 at Waterworks.

Shanked the hell out of it...went over the trees on the left and thought it would come back but the little b%tch never did.

Looked for it by the hole on #5 all the way back up the hill to #8's Tbox but was no where to be found.

Same guy who lost #122 has now lost Tag #131. I'll work on bag clipping techniques with him...mine never seem to fall off?

We would really like to have it back...even though it is a high number, it eliminates him from the fun.

If not found, can it be replaced from the vendor? (for a cost of what $$$)

Some guy found my pink cyclone or my yellow Valk at Waterworks and met me at the Innova Disc Workshop. I owe him beer/bev of choice and accidently erased his number from my cell phone.

Australlian accent, floppy hat, involved in kids education of some kind.

I promised him/you free beer/bev. of choice and want to know how to get ahold of him/you.

Maybe Kevin, Keith or some name that begins with a "K" I think.

Anyone know who I am talking about and possibly some contact info.

Found and Lost / Lost 150 White Valk at Cliff

Hole #4 on the drive...went straight towards the basket, 10-15 yards short. Looks like it died right there but once down there...it was gone.

Beer reward if found...name and number are on it.

PS- The park is real nice with all the work done over the fourth weekend. Great job to all who helped!

On Sunday afternoon, on a mega windy day, lost a Yellow Valk on 8 at Cliff. Went over the trees to the left of the pin...almost came back in but hit the tallest tree about 30 feet from the north end.

***Free 6 pack of domestic or (2) 24 oz cans of Import.***

Missing Disc goes by Lefty2 and my phone number is on it.

Don't have a phone you say...tell me right back here!

Boy I hate to jinkx my good luck latley but I have gotten back all lost discs for the last month or so.

I have tried to spread the gospel rule that states- If you find a disc and there is contact information on that disc, do everything you can to facilitate the return of that disc to its rightful owner. If there is no contact information on that disc...it's yours!!!

Moral of the story- Always put your contact info on the back of any disc you ever hope to get a chance of getting back.

Thanks to all the "cool people" who return discs..YOU ROCK!!!

General Banter / X-Step Help!!!

Fellow disc golfers,

My X-Step is more of a W-Step...so I stopped stepping all together for the last month to see what a difference that made. Turns out my throws, just standing there, are 10-30 yards longer and a hellova lot straighter. It appears as if your hip direction has a major say so in the direction and velocity of the throw.

That being said, I see where my hips are on the really good throws and know I need to end up in the same place only with some kind of a run up.

Does anyone offer an X-Step demonstration? I cannot be the only one having issues and it is a very vital part of the throw. I would be most greatful and would bring all the beverage one could consume.
