Loved the effort in smithville! The potential is definitely there & As it stands now, all you really have to do is become creative with your teepads and it can be quite challenging. At least it was for me today.. Got a couple 4s and 'some' 2s & loved the targets! They catch rather 'forgivingly'!
SMITHVILLE.......Ahhhhh ...sounds like a piece of heaven! Going out there today myself. When I was a boy scout leader several years ago, we actually set up a temp, object course & ran thru about 300 scouts. Let's hope the fine folks of clay county and the kingdom of SMITHVILLE put their best foot forward with this!!
The gentleman apologized already folks. I believe the next time he posts, a little more forethought will probably be used. And to disgruntled, I ask you to reconsider your stance on club involvement. The people in this club are mostly totally awesome! Except for the leo's....not counting you, Chap.
Long live the monster!!! KC needs it & any golfer in KC that wants to take a run at actually touring outside of KC needs it!-Say that 5 times fast... There are MANY options that the pillars of this club have spent countless hours on for us to use in the metro area. Honestly, in my opinion, all Big Blue needs is about 5000 or so feet of bright golden ROPE!!!
Donations are coming in and are GREATLY appreciated!! we still need more shwag though so if you can or know someone who can, Please steer them either mine or Tavish's way and i am sure together we can make this ladies ring of fire an epic event!! An idea I've been toissing around is to have the 45ft ring actually painted in a fire fashion on the ground to add more flare.. whaddaya think? Any other ideas?
