Ya! I can play... I'll see you there about 4pmish.
This section allows you to view all posts made by this member. Note that you can only see posts made in areas you currently have access to.
you'll probably never find a definitive list of "rare or OOP" discs.
start with CE plastic. work from there.
Speaking of CE discs...picked up a nice Leopard and a Eagle at a garage sale the other day for $3 each...heck of a deal I thought!! Thanks Deano!!
Thank you for your time and dedication Bob. I know its difficult to keep things organized when you have Deano AND Andy together in the SAME park!I had alot of fun this year.
It gets dark at 6:45pm. are we still starting at 5:30? Ill be there early just in case
As for the DX question. The big reason I think it's important to learn with DX is to watch a disc turn from stable/over stable to understable. This allows you to learn how to work lines. When starting to learn how to throw, it's good to have a disc you can throw anhyzer, hyzer, and straight with varying around of torque to learn the art of shaping shots. This is often called working a disc. While Champ and Star both do break in, their break in period is much slower, especially if you don't generate a lot of spin on the disc.
How far do you throw? While the disc may be marked as understable on the flight chart, it's also going to depend on how far you throw.
what's happening to the disc during the "break-in" and can you speed up the process?
I'm able to get enough spin on a new monarch to hold a line 300 feet or so before it fades. I've drove off pin 1 at Rosedale and left myself a 30' or so foot putt.
thanks
Has there ever been troubles with people playing glow at WyCo? Sounds like fun for winter time Friday nights.
How about a glow round for Halloween?

Deano, please don't park UR ride in or near the fairway, even out-of-bounds! Unless you own a Fix-A-Dent tool...
Enjoy
Use caution at the Friz cuz Deano will be driving a cart....just trying to give ample warning, cuz sober he is a wild man already....should have seen all the limbs and crap we had to dig out from the bottom side of it after league Monday.
Viva La Friz!
