Does anyone have an extra score port I can borrow?

I have a scorepointe that I will bring. I assume that is what you mean? Also, there was a tree down on #5 Woodhenge. The hole is playable but...

A dozen out for a chilly, breezy round on the hills above the city. Temp right at 40 with winds of 10-15.

WOW! I haven't had that much fun shooting over 70 since playing Idlewild. Took a seven on hole three but the guy I played with had a beautiful three. My favorite hole was probably 13.

We met Ranger Kyle and some other park folks during the round. They were spreading seed and doing other course work. The place will get nothing but better.

The course appears to be tipped out right now with the shorter pins looking quite a bit easier. Great pads, and benches on most holes. We got through it in just over 2 hours.

It was about 1.25 hours taking 24 across but well worth the drive and I hope to get back out there soon.

Go Play This Course!!!

I just want to play 12 on the peninsula!

There is still the long alternate tee setting down from the hilltop left too I bet. You could play that one and still have 17 peninsula.

hahaha, damn teddy K. Life's easy when your bag is made up of the "stuff nobody wants" bin

Sad but true. I've been throwing those mids for 25 years, why change now? They didn't save me from an 880 round at Cliffy the other night but it's still generally the best part of my game.  :)

I'd be interested in Stingrays, Cobras, and 130ish Katanas. Likely in the stuff that nobody throws box.

Look for another two or three from the Northland for the early round at Birdland! Ted, Jamie Danger, and hopefully Amando.

Also please keep James "Tall Guy" McLaughlin in your thoughts. Apparently he is in a Wichita hospital right now after experiencing chest pains.

For those that don't know, I had a heart attack last Wednesday. Spent a couple of days at North Kansas City Hospital (they are amazing!) and now have a stent holding open an artery. I am home and feeling better every day. I hope to be out playing soon but it may be a while before I am ready to take on hilly courses.

I so appreciate all the love and support I have received from the local disc golf community. KANSAS CITY DISC GOLFERS ROCK!!!!!!!!

21 out for the last club league of the season. Another perfect Thursday evening with temp right at 70 and very little wind.

The shorter course set up led to some nice scores. Jamie Danger led all from the Masters shooting 46. I hear tell it's a course personal best. C-Dub took Open at 47 and Mike Fenton won Advanced with a 56. I shot my age and broke par for the first time this year at WW. (I just told my son I shot my age and without hesitation he responded "You shot 400?!)

Mini stats for those with five weeks or more at

Arturo easily led the standings this year averaging 48.4. The league average was 58.6.

Arturo and Chris Timko aced this season and the Ace Pool ends at $506.

180 different people played 690 rounds with an average of 29 players per week. The players included:

5 Scotts
5 Brians
6 Kevins
7 Mikes
9 Matts
Only 1 Maurice thank goodness.

Top attendees were:

Billy Nelson 21 Weeks

Arturo Villareal  18
Greg Utz  18
Bill Neenan  17
TJ Ring  16
Doug Kantro  15
Ken Hostetler  15

Thanks to Bill, Billy, Jamie, and all that helped. Thanks to all who played for making it another fine summer at Water Works park.
